I ran into this dude...trying to sell me a car...we worked together in a diff profession some 25 years ago. He said to me once i introduced myself to him ( i remembered who he was) and he said OHhhhhhh Tom..i didn't recognize you, you look heavier than you used to.

Mind you, this dude is fat and bald and has been for 30 years. F'ing moron. needless to say, will NEVER buy a car from this *kitten*.

I had to go to Amsterdam in January to meet my new boss. We went out in the evening for a few beers and whilst walking between bars at something like -2c he made a comment about me not having my coat done up. He said that it must be because of my extra layer of fat insulating me. Haven't forgotten that and have lost a stone since. The thing is that 30+ years ago I was 12 Stone at 5'11'' and fitter than ever, but I'd still walk around in winter in little more than short sleeves. I just like it when it's crisp and cold. Part of the reason why I moved to Scotland from London, I don't cope with the heat so well. He was right about the blubber though:-)

In March of 2016 just one month into my work to get this weight off, I was on a long walk, it was raining, I was soaked and I had forgot my water at home so I ducked into the store to get a water. In line behind me were several young men. I heard someone say something about fat *kitten*..... and this is how this girl rolls... I turned to the young man directly behind me, extended my hand and said my name is Carmen and "i may have a fat *kitten* which I love but sorry to say you cannot grow a bigger d***. Checker's jaw dropped...his friends laughed and that was the end of that. No one can MAKE you feel any kind of way. We do that to ourselves. GAH! Love yourself enough and bring yourself to the world.....you are a gift.

One night while driving home my children were arguing about who was the fastest and putting the family in order from fastest to slowest. I interjected and told them I was faster than all of them... Well my 6 year old son said " No you are not! How could you be, you are too fat!" My daughter abruptly elbowed him and told him to shut it, but the damage was done and it really hurt my feelings. The tears started to run down my face and I ended up eating my sorrow away that night, but when I woke up the next day I decided to change it! It has been an off and on process, but I am down 24 lbs since then!

Used to be in great shape got injured in the Army almost died had many more health issues got depressed gained over 100 lbs. One day my 18 yr old daughter was talking to me started to cry saying I had to be alive to walk her down the isle when she got married. She's not dating atm so it won't be anytime soon. That conversation with her lite a fire in my soul it's been almost two months now an I've lost 20 lbs so far an still going.

I work in retail management. I had a customer come in drunk, stoned, smelling like cat pee, talking about being a convicted felon on parole, unemployed...trying to get me to let him steal. He said "listen, since clearly you like to eat, I'll take you out for dinner if you let me take this stuff." I kicked him out of my store. But it struck me that this guy honestly perceived me as so inferior because of my weight that I would be so desperate for a man and for food that I would be flattered by the invitation enough to let him steal...I was really upset, but it really motivated me to make a change.
