As of this morning - and probably only for today right now, thanks to how my weight fluctuates - I am not overweight!
My BMI today is 24.87. I don't know the last time I was at this weight... probably about 26-27 years ago. I think I'm going to cry.70 -

A co-worker asked me how I had lost weight. When I said that I had been eating 1200 calories a day her response was "Oh I could never do that!". I guess that's why we are where we are and they are where they are.
Now you've got me thinking about biking to work. Hmmmmmm.......23 -

Such an amazing feeling, isn't it? Congratulations!9 -

We did our tiny run, across a playing field. My toddler roared with laughter the whole time, occasionally screeching "I'm a mini-Mummy! I'm a mini-Mummy!".
She'll get over it.
Only managed a 10 mile bike ride today due to the very windy weather that's becoming rather tedious
But I've taken 30803 steps/walked 13.64 miles today. I may go out to see the swans and hit 14 miles, just because I can
And the weather is supposed to be calmer tomorrow so a very long bike ride is planned. Which involves a 5am start

I logged today. I walked the dog on a very windy beach for an hour. It's a start.35

I actually had a 1.8 pound gain this week but I'm taking that as a victory. I added 100 cal./day this week because I was struggling with fatigue and light headedness. I decided that since I had upped my daily steps a great deal, that the problem was not enough calories. It worked for how I feel but I guess it will just take a while for my body to adjust and sort things out. I'm encouraged because over the past two weeks I've seen a major change in the way my body looks and feels.
There was a family emergency yesterday and when I arrived at the hospital one family member was shocked at how much weight I 've lost, and this cousin sees me very often since she's a neighbor! My housemate also confirmed that I look so much thinner over the past few days. My clothes feel like I'm shrinking up inside them. That says NSV to me in a big way!26 -

I know I'm completely biased but she is totally adorable.

They say that because they don't think they could do, or that they would not be willing to do it. I used to be one of those people, but you know what they say, "Never say never" cause you don't know what you can't or won't do until you have to, and then it can be very surprising that you end up loving what you thought you couldn't! I had to, for health reasons, do a lot of things I would have never believed that I could do, much less enjoy doing!7 -
I made it! Size 10 - started at size 20W in February 2016.
I came out of the dressing room in a pair of 12 this style and my SO chuckled and said "Let me get you some 10". I heard him tell the saleslady he can't ever get me to buy clothes, but I've lost so much weight I don't have a choice.28 -
5K time of 35:05. Much better than last week of 37:55. This is my 5th 5K (doing Parkrun) and time has dropped each time. In fact, I jogged 2.5K before needing to walk. One day I will jog the whole thing.33

I am at the gym. A hot guy just hit on me.51

My best NSV was no longer being in metabolic syndrome and actually impressing my doctor. He told me he actually looks forward to my annual physicals now because he doesn't have any patients who get HEALTHIER as they get older.
Looking back on what I just said makes me kinda sad about the obesity problem we have in the U.S...32 -
Did my first 5k today..finished in 58 minutes. Pretty excited about that.37

This is one of my biggest struggles.. Congrats!!!8 -
I know several of y'all are doing C25K, but are further ahead than I am. But I just finished week 1, day 2 and it was a piece of cake. My breathing was under control, and my feet didn't hurt!27
-
I've missed a few days here and there if my C25K program because of weather (thunderstorms mostly), and I just skipped those days. Today was a 3 mile day and I did it! Actually did 3.18 miles in 35 minutes! I am SO excited about that!28

It's raining today. Has been raining since yesterday. Went out for a bike ride anyhow. 8.5km. I even went up that baby hill that nearly defeated me on my first ride twice! I'm going to go up and down that sucker until it's a piece of cake. Then, once I've slain that sucker, I'll graduate to the hill that always defeated me as a kid.20

Just tried on my old belt. Last September, I could only get to the third hole. This time, even with over-indulging on pizza last night, I was able to use the final notch!23

Congrats!!! Love those red pants. So fun! You rock, Lucy.9 -
I (finally) bought a bunch of clothes from Forever 21+ online, which is my favorite plus size store. At the beginning of my journey, I had gotten too big for some of the 3X clothes, which is their biggest size. This time I bought clothes in a 0X and they fit! I also bought a dress from another store in a 1X and had to return it for a regular old Large. I think this means I am officially in limbo between plus and straight size clothes!
I have also realized that it is a lot trickier to determine how something will look on me if the model is a size 2. I had gotten so used to plus size models!26 -
Went out with some friends last night and ate dinner beforehand and only had one drink, pretty unusual for me and required a lot of control but I'm feeling good this morning!31

I haven't craved chocolate all day.
This is a huge thing for me. I was put on a medication last November which meant no more chocolate.
Before I was told "no more chocolate", I hadn't eaten any for 16 months and wasn't at all bothered about it. Quite happy to be in a room of others eating chocolate and not wanting any.
Once I was told "no more chocolate" then I wanted to eat it ALL of the time. I've had chocolate cravings for SIX months. Worse than when I was pregnant (at least those cravings weren't too bad, with one I craved lemons, with another steak and I don't think I had particular cravings with the last two).
So not to have had that horrible feeling is just amazing. Actually, it's liberating.22 -

For the last 2 days mfp has been telling me that I will be under my goal weight in 5 weeks32
-
First, I love all of these NSV....I never realized how important they are before reading these. Each of them makes me smile.
Saturday, 10 days from my start date, I had to move my belt a notch smaller.
I was so excited because 11 days ago, I was getting ready to move it one notch larger.
YIPPEE!!!31 -
