Anyone else doing this? And if so how do you work out the calories burned without a monitor in order to log?!

I did it a couple years ago. It was a tough workout and I really enjoyed Jillian's teaching, but it gave me awful shin splints. I think it was all the jumping jacks. Make sure to wear good shoes and use a nice thick mat.0

It's the jump rope that kills me0

Yes the jump rope part pulled one of my calf muscles and I had to modify for a few days but I'm back at it and I think it may have been my form. Overall I think it's a good program so far and read so many great reviews online. I'm on day 7 and I'm not down any weight...in fact I'm up a little which I believe is water weight :^| but I can already see notable definition in my arms and feel like my midsection is noticeably tighter :^)0
