New personal best on the treadmill - 3.42 mil (5.5 km) in 42 minutes. That's with doing an incline program to boot.24

I've logged in for over 20 days. That's a good deal for me lol.31

20 minutes on the elliptical today AND 20 on the ski machine -- just a little tenderness in my right knee. I am thinking I might be able to hit the pool in a few weeks if I keep getting stronger and the pain stays away. I'm so, so happy! Only took about 15 yrs to heal! I'm nothing if not persistent ... Or stubborn.20

I rode 6 miles on the bike today - the farthest I've ever gone.
When I told my son he said he loves bragging about my progress on facebook and said that 'even though you don't look like it, I think of you as an athlete.' Lol23 -
Wonderful treat - reading all your accomplishment's here with my morning coffee! So inspiring!

After four months of Crossfit I FINALLY got my front squat hella low today. I'm feeling it in my *kitten* right now.25

1) Completed Week 3 of C25K and we are really looking forward to Week 4 (I know I keep on about this but each workout is a major achievement for me; I just don't run!). Will be going out for a "mini-run" with my toddler when we go to see the swans later
2) I've been tracking my walks since the beginning of November 2015. Today I reached (and went past by a mile) 2000 miles. That's 58.8% of the way from my house to New York. Floundering in the Atlantic27 -
@Madwife2009 - Water wings...plus swimming and walking count as double exercise, right?13

1. Saturday I did my second 7K (4,2 miles) ever. I was really nervous as this one was 3000 feet higher in elevation, in the foothills of CO (read lots of hills.) I beat my time by 3 minutes. The first time I did this I cried, this time, I had tears in my eyes when I found out I beat my time. I didn't expect it. I even jogged a couple of blocks.
2. My BF washed all of my comfy pants at once, and forgot to dry them. I had to go places and needed decent clothes to wear. I figured I might be able to get in to some of my too small clothes that were hiding in the back of my closest. First pair of Capri pants that I put on "looked like a curtain" according to the bf. Into the donate pile. The second pair I put on fit amazingly well, and looked good on me. I could even fit my knee pads on underneath them. (So glad, because I fell roller skating that day, had them on. Was really thankful when the BF fell right on top of me after I fell.)20 -
I completed a Half Marathon this past Sunday!!39

@Lucy1752 - yep, double exercise. Plus the additional calories for the brain, working out how far I was to New York!7 -

Ran 5.5 miles yesterday without stopping! And didn't immediately blow my calories for the day (like I have in the past after running a lot less...)21

I managed to do 10 stomach crunches today (the easy kind). I have CFS and Fibromyaliga and have to very gentle exercise and build slowly. But a week ago I could only do 3. Hah take that stupid chronic illness!37

Last year I had a long bike riding streak going 201days before ending in November. I made it through rain at least 3 of those were soaked to the skin. Wind and hot and cold. So I wasn't sure if I would try for an every day streak this year or not. We had a trip to Washington DC in April so knew the streak couldn't start until after that. We got home to cold weather. To the point of turning the heat on in the house and Rain so wasn't able to start the streak until May 1st.
And then today the forecast was rain all day. I woke up this morning just before 6. The driveway was wet but it wasn't raining at that moment. Rush through getting ready and go out not raining good. Well the rain held off a few seconds it was raining before I got out of the driveway. It's okay I'm dressed for it. so head on made it about a mile and okay this isn't good my glasses are so wet I cannot see. So head home into the garage about that time it lets up a little. So head back out surely I can make it to 20 minutes. So do a couple more loops around the neighborhood but not letting up. So only 2.7 miles and just over 20 minutes. It might stop raining around 7 pm tonight so maybe I can get a few more laps in. Good thing I stopped as it was really pouring about the time I left for work.17 -
I have a few today!
1. When I went wedding dress shopping about two months ago, I bought a size down from the size that fit perfectly in store. I just hit all of the measurements to fit that dress (I lose inches in my waist the slowest it seems)!
2. My fiance and I volunteered at a dog/adoption/social type event this weekend, and one of the other volunteers commented that I looked like a runner!! Three months ago I couldn't run a mile, and now I can run about four miles. That compliment meant a lot to me!
3. I graduate from college this Sunday, and while I don't remember exactly how much I weighed at the time, my mom said that she thinks I am smaller now than I was then. Which makes me really happy because I was a competitive dancer that rehearsed six nights a week (but I ate like crap while I was in high school, so I still never had that 'dancer's body')18 -
Currently on holiday with my dh. Two years ago on holiday I would have spent all my time under cover reading a book, three days into this holiday I have done a trx class, persuaded dh to come to the gym with me, we've played tennis, we've walked and I have a pt session booked for tomorrow.22

Completed Day 6 of 30 day squat challenge (60 squats and 90 tomorrow) Have done this challenge before but had cataract surgery and couldn't do a lot of exercise for about a month but getting back into it. Back at the gym and doing squats and walking videos. I refuse to be that weak little old lady25

I have a pair of pants that I've had for ages. They are really stretchy, with an elastic waist.
I've noticed that they seem to be shorter than they used to be for a few months now, due to my increase in size.
I put them on this morning, and they are the right length again. A couple of pounds down makes a big difference!!!16 -

One of my sisters is getting married in January and wants to go look at bridesmaids dresses in a couple weeks before everything goes crazy for the other sister's wedding. So I tried on a bunch of old formal/prom dresses that my mother's kept (she's definitely a hoarder, why she kept my prom dress when I was willing to part with it is completely unclear to me) to get an idea of what size I am atm. My prom dress was too big on me! I fit into several of the dresses the size down from there. I'm pretty pleased with myself today. Though now I'm definitely not ordering the bridesmaids dress until the end of summer so I'll have a better idea of what my size will actually be in January.22

Did the "mini-run" with my littlie - we ran twice as far as last time, across the playing field and back again. My toddler thought it was a race so of course she "won".
The swans only have four eggs now. Not sure what's happened to the other four - they may have hatched (we didn't see both swans as the lake has an island in the middle and is huge so we didn't have time to search for any possible cygnets.15 -
I got a bike for my birthday and while I have used it several times with the kiddos I haven't had a chance to go on a nice long ride by myself. Friday afternoon I was finally able to do so and did a six mile loop that included MANY hills. First time I have done that in over 20 years!
Also, I started Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred on May 1st and am moving up to Level 2 tomorrow. I am waiting until the halfway point to take measurements but I can already feel my clothes being looser and was able to get through every day with no breaks or skipping anything!
Finally, I had an event I had to speak at yesterday so I dressed up to look the part. I got SO many compliments on how fabulous I looked - from those who knew the bigger me and those that didn't as well!30 -
New undies!! Was in a size 9 for way too long, after finally noticing my undies were baggy I bought new and I'm down to a size 6. Other nsv is having to add 3 new holes on my belt because I am confident enough to wear jeans again!21

Recently ordered new workout shorts in a size Large instead of XL, and that feels great!25

I had the best NSV ever today. After losing 71 pounds, I was running around today at work and MY SPANX FELL DOWN! Like all the way down, past my butt, to the FLOOR. it was hilarious. Thankfully I don't think any one saw me or realized what had happened, but it was just plain awesome to think that my butt has shrunk so much that my Spanx fell off. And you know what, maybe I don't need them anymore!54

I have a much healthier relationship with food and exercise now. I ended up overeating today (penne arrabiatta is a weakness of mine) and instead of freaking out and forcing myself back on a crash diet level of calories to punish myself, I shrugged it off and did a bit more time on the elliptical than I usually do.28

This mayyyyy cross over the line into TMI...But I'm sharing it anyway!
Over the years as I've progressed towards the healthy lifestyle I've always longed for my mental health (concerning thoughts about my body and my ability to be positive even when not perfect) have also improved IMMENSLEY. Win #1 because this was a DEFINITE part of my goal.
However. I've also experienced a new level of body awareness that's actually pretty awesome, though strange. It's especially helpful when I'm fighting to be positive.
A few months ago I noticed a correlation between "fat" days (awful days when it seems as if nothing fits and my progess is lost forever and I'll never get where I want to be) and...here it goes...having to poop! What!? But YES! Turns out, probably 90% of the time when I'm down mentally because of feeling "fat" it's because I need to poop and I haven't yet! I've been tracking this for all of 2017 so far and seriously, there's a very high percentage of the time when I feel this way mentally and it turns out a simple bathroom trip literally causes me to feel light, and healthy and awesome again. It's quite strange, I know! so win number one is that my mental positivity has changed enough that I'm not stuck in a rut and beating myself up all the time. It's really quite rare that I have "fat" days anymore and usally they're 30mins of a "fat" mindset before Truth pours in and those lies are put to bed. Win number two? Body awareness! Discovering that the fat illusion is actually connected to how my body feels in the moment. Woo!

Also, one more. Ok a few more.
I used to be a runner. But an injury sidelined me in college and then I pursued to get my mental health in order before committing myself to exercise in the future. (Exercise was a form of purging for me...NO MORE!!)
Working out with fitnessblender free YouTube videos has be instrumental in both my physical health as well as putting those last few pieces of mental health in place. Kelli and Daniel are awesome. This winter is the very first that I've worked out consistently. And I can tell!
The warm weather and desire to be outdoors in quiet morning stillness before the hubby leaves for work and kids are out of bed prompted me to start the C210k program. I ran a 5k back in November and just a few weeks ago ran the fist time since and was able to go for 15mins. WIN!! So I'm sarting on week 4 of C210k
All that story to say that running at 6 this am in the quiet spring air was MARVELOUS. This is what I hoped and hoped and prayed for when I was injured and realized my motives for running weren't healthy all those 10yrs ago.
FREEDOM.
Mentally.
And because of fitnessblender workouts FREEDOM physically as well. I'm strong in ways I've never been before and I can enjoy running even MORE because of it.
So much Joy. Soooooo much joy!!!

I've been frequenting thredup lately to try to replenish my wardrobe for less money than buying all new clothes. Today I found two dresses I used to wear all the time in smaller sizes and it was crazy to order a 6 in a dress that I used to wear in a 14 and a small in a dress that I used to wear an xl. It's so encouraging especially when the scale hasn't been my friend for the past couple of weeks.27
