Watching the news and apparently self-marriages are growing in popularity. These people actually have ceremonies where they make vows to themselves.

If you had a friend invite you to a ceremony like this, would you attend?

Maybe. If they get a divorce, will I get the toaster oven back?

How does the first dance work?

^^^ these questions must be answered before we, as a society, can support these actions.

I sometimes sit and hold my hand.

So here's the real question.. can you still *kitten* before you marry yourself or do you have to wait until after the wedding?

Oh and if you meet a someone and have sex, are you cheating on yourself and would that be a reason to file for a divorce?

I think that if you engage in relations with another person while married to yourself, that would qualify you as a swinger.

The whole premarital concerns are just a "sticky mess"

I don't even really like me, I'm not gonna pop the question anytime soon.

Yeah, I don't see much hope for you in any case. Well, maybe beastiality.

    I haven't heard of this. http://www.selfmarriageceremonies.com/faq/
If a friend invited me I suppose I would attend their ceremony out of curiosity I suppose. I would think it was kind of dumb if it was exactly like a wedding ceremony.

I've been dating myself for quite a while and I can honestly say I'd tap that. I don't know about the whole commitment thing though...

Can I ask you out on a date while you're dating yourself? Is that cheating on yourself?

If I got an invite to a friend's self wedding, I'd for sure attend, both from a support aspect and a nosiness/curiosity aspect. I'm trying to think if I know anyone who would/could/should actually do this.

As long as there's enough peanut butter involved. Sigh.

Well, that raises a whole other question. What brand of peanut butter?

I would think you should stick with smooth versus extra crunchy

On a high note, never again will the phrase "I'm not in the mood" be spoken...

Mmmm, not really. There are some mornings I'm thinking "ok, do I go ahead and, you know, or do I continue to sit here and watch reruns of Barney Miller?"

    Sometimes Barney wins out.

Yea....but......sometimes just a simple scratch while watching Barney Miller turns magical.

Just the other day I was hollering out my own name.
