I walk twice a day <when possible> for at least 30 minutes each time...I know how to enter that under exercise.. But I also do Silver Sneakers twice a week (2rs) but can't figure how to add that under exercise..
Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks;
Hefs

    What is Silver Sneakers? You can use, dance, aerobic, something like that. Circuit training if it's that...

    SilverSneakers is a program encouraging older adults to participate in physical activities that will help them to maintain greater control of their health. It sponsors activities and social events designed to keep seniors healthy while encouraging social interaction.

    More than likely the instructor would be able to tell you which category your program best fits. It is probably aerobics or yoga, something of that nature.

    I'm in Silver Sneakers but, as far as I know, it's not a specific exercise program, it's a program provided by health insurers that provides a free gym membership to seniors eligible for Medicare; the idea being that if seniors exercise and take better care of themselves, their need for medicare care will be reduced.

    I get my free membership thru United Healthcare at a local In Shape facility. In Shape has some programs designed for seniors that Silver Sneaker members can join but these are In Shape programs that have nothing to do w/Silver Sneakers in particular.

    Thanks All for the responses.. I will ask the instructor ..good idea... I have been doing it for about a year..light exercise with weights,bands ,balls and aerobics.. All of us in there are in the 60-70 + range..I get mine through Blue Cross BS..Medicare.. I have serious neuropathy and no balance so have to sit down for the program ,but they take care of every body no matter their conditions.... It makes me feel like I have accomplished something when I finish a session..I am so restricted as to what I can do ( cane and walker) this helps me feel better about my self..
    And losing 50 lbs since July has also helped me feel good about my self..

    Thanks;
