So yesterday and the day before I accidentally ate 300 more calories than my normal goal for maintanence. I forgot to track something that I ate and completely forgot about the calories all together. Will this have any impact on my weight?

No, It will not have a impact, 300 calories over maintenence is not that much to gain any form of fat or weight especially if it's only a 2 time thing. I suggest just eating as you'll normally do the next day. (As in fixing the mistake and eating normal the next day, we're all humans mistakes happen and move on)

300 calories over maintenance every day for weeks will be an issue.

Here and there...not so much. I forget to log things sometimes. We're human.

You might want to pre-log your days if you find you often forget stuff. I prefer to log as I go, but, when I'm busy, I definitely forget some things!

Regularly, yes overeating will make you gain weight.

Eat 100cals less than maintenance for a week if you're worried, and it'll even out...

Are you maintaining? What is your maintenance range? Unless you're already at the top of it, 600 Cal should barely register as a blip.

Are you losing? You delayed reaching your goal by 3 to 4 days. (2 that you were at maintenance or above plus one or two extra to achieve a deficit equal to your overage). Oh well.

3500 cal is one pound of fat. 300 is 8% at 0.08 pound. plus u r most likely still.under ur maintenance number.

    dont worry n be happy!
