Looking for some at home HIIT or Crossfit, is it possible?

So I'm using fitness blender. But if like to broaden my horizons. I need to loose weight but I'd like to also build some muscle. I like HIIT because I can do it in short amounts of time if needed due to nursing my almost 3 month old. Please offer any suggestions

    I am also looking into the 30 day shred. Maybe I can do that, then do something else depending on how well the 30 day shred works for me...

    How commited to fitness are you? Fitness isnt a 30 day program its a 100 year or however long you live program.

    Many different workout styles. If you just wanna drop fat to look good then simple as 30 min a day of cardio right when you get up so your body goes into fat eating beast mode. Take in a couple less hundred calories and dont eat any and i mean any processed foods and you will be good

    30 day shred is not hiit or crossfit,to lose weight you need to be in a calorie deficit. not to mention its hard to build muscle and lose fat at the same time unless doing whats called a recomp(eating maintenance calories and lifting heavy weight/resistance training but this takes a decent amount of time and you wont see quick results). fasted cardio does not turn you into a fat burning beast either. fat loss comes from a deficit.processed foods arent bad either,it takes time to build muscle being female,so pick one goal for now,weight loss,muscle gain or a little bit of both

    This lady above this post is right until about half way when she disagrees with me. She is wrong, anyone who tells you processed foods are good is wrong. Her advice is sound though for a healthy lifestyle, i gave advice based on the question not the reach of my pissing stream

    Any good workout recommendations as far as cardio goes?

    no,Im not wrong food is fuel. processed may be bad for some people but if you look at it everything is processed in some way or another. tell me how its bad? I eat some processed foods and my cholesterol has went down and other health markers have improved,which werent the greatest even before I got fat. there is nothing wrong with processed foods in moderation. processed foods do not prevent weight loss.if she doesnt want to eat them thats up to her, but why say dont eat something,if you arent going to explain why and why its bad for you?

    I said before i believed your mostly correct. You cant say all of that is based only on you eating processed foods in moderation, unless you know it was nothing else causing health increases. Processed foods can even help you lose fat! And even with the question i still would never reccomend anyone eat processed foods. TO THE QUESTION THOUGH, As far as cardio. if you wake up you can walk that 30 and take a caloric deficit and be fine. You need to take in less calories then you burn in a day. Cold showers are also a very very under rated fat burner, im certain people will disagree too but thats because they couldnt stomach it for a month.

    Bingo, you hit on the magic that occurs when you are trying to lose weight. All things in moderation for an overall calorie deficit.

    no need to be confused, food is fuel(a calorie is a calorie) if you want to cut down on processed foods thats fine,but if you dont want to there is no need.weight is loss in a calorie deficit,to lose weight its not going to matter what you eat unless you have a health issue,food allegy/intolerance then you dont eat those foods. but too many people come here saying that processed food is bad,sugar is bad,bread is bad,etc etc. there is no scientific proof that any one food/type of food is bad.what you choose to eat is up to you. just as long as you are eating a balanced diet(which is for health not weight loss),you can even add processed foods into that balanced diet.

    Simple answer, 1600 calories a day and run for 30 or walk for an hour when you get up. You cannot lose fat alone without exercise so dont just starve yourself. The proper caloric deficit with proper exercise at the right time is gold.

    Gotcha. Keep heart rate up for a good 1/2 hour to get metabolism kicking. Best in the mornings. I'm a nursing mom so I have to be thoughtful of eating enough calories as well.

    why would I watch a video on youtube by someone whos credentials doesnt include any degrees in health sciences,nutrition or anything like that? Im asking you to clarify why its bad,and why to avoid it. he promotes supplements which arent needing to lose fat or build muscle,also he has a page where he is trying to sell a product. he says build muscle and lose fat fast. neither things can be done quickly.so I would say without even watching his video he promotes a bunch of bro science,one of them being spot reduction of fat? yeah no not happening.

    Yep Joe Wicks is fantastic for at home HIIT sessions. There are loads of different vids on his youtube channel from beginner through to advanced (Thebodycoachtv). Definitely check him out. Also the lady who said processed foods aren't bad is wrong. Yes you can still lose weight if you eat processed foods along as you stay in calorie deficit, this doesn't mean you should lol. As far as I'm concerned you should try to eat a clean diet if you can and avoid foods laden with chemicals and preservatives etc. If there is a huge list of ingredients on the packet that you don't understand or recognise then it probably isn't going to be good for you!! This is not rocket science! be kind to your body and it will thank you for it. Eat Clean and train hard!!

    Simple HIIT cardio... do 10 to 15 burpees, rest until you can go again. Soon your burpees count will go up and your rest periods will get shorter. I hate cardio, but almost love it now for the challenge to get the most out of my body. At first I could barely do about 100 calories in a 14 minute Bowflex session. Now I can do 360 in 14 minutes and 1000 in 42 minutes. Love my Bowflex Max 7 for HIIT cardio.

    You are getting so much conflicting advice here. Do your own research about what foods are relevant for good nutrition, don't believe everything someone tells you about eating "clean" (like anyone knows what that really means) or eating only non-processed foods (all foods are processed in some form or another, even that shiny red apple you pick out in the produce aisle-treated with hormones to keep it "fresh" for up to 18 months after it is picked). As a new mom, you're first priority is your baby so of course you want to eat the most nutritious foods you can, but there's no reason to eliminate specific things if they meet your nutritional requirements. Most importantly, enjoy what time you have with your baby, yes, exercise as time allows, eat at a slight deficit if you are trying to lose weight, eat plenty of protein to make sure your needs are met for maintaining/building muscle.

    Just look up jo wicks on YouTube, he's a personal trainer and brilliant. He has exercises from beginners to advance and master in HIIT....i use him 3times a week.
