This is probably just a venting session. I have no doubt my family and friends are all tired of hearing my doubts and complaints. I was mostly happy with my body before the baby. At the very least I was confident. I gladly hopped into breastfeeding as they say the baby weight falls of when you do. That's a f*ing fallacy. I gained even more even after I added activity to my days. Then I paid more attention to my diet. That didn't help either. Fast forward another 9 more months. Been working out multiple times a week and feeling great about it. This week I haven't missed a day yet. Been trying to have a good diet, and for the most part it's good... but I've gotta be honest I know that's the real problem... either way. I feel I should be seeing some results. Like any. But there are none. My clothes don't fit better or look better. Scale is the same. Tape measure stays the same. At the most I have slightly better stamina in the gym.
How long do I have to give this much energy before I see some results- any results.. at all?!!!

if you arent losing you arent in a deficit. its that simple.paying attention to your diet could mean anything, are you counting calories? are you weighing your food? how do you calculate your calorie intake?7 -
Yeah diet like 99%. Weigh food. Maintain deficit. Weight will come off.
I know things can be difficult. Life is difficult. Being a mother is like 3 full time jobs. You got this though! Get the diet sorted out, give it time. Don't get down about it, and don't sweat the small stuff. It's not gonna be easy, but once you get a little momentum going, you will really pick up some steam.

Watching what you eat is a must if you want to lose weight, exercise is good but if you are eating more calories than you are burning even if it's healthy food you will stay the same/gain weight.1

If you aren't gaining and you are making any advances at the gym, you are "seeing" results. But you want the scale to go down. You say in your post you know that diet is the problem.
How's the baby? Have fun. It goes by in a flash.

If you're still breastfeeding, then you're not alone. I'm nursing my 5 month old, and though I've lost my pregnancy weight and weigh 10lb less than I did pre-pregnancy, I still have 10 lbs to go. But no matter what I do, those 10lbs won't budge. From what I read on the subject, this is normal and starts coming off after weaning.

That's bro science. I'm weighing less than my pre-pregnancy weight at not even 11 full weeks PP. I'm not watching what I'm eating but I'm ebf. You WILL lose weight when you are in a caloric deficit.0 -
I weighed less than my pre-pregnancy weight at 4 days post partum. I'm 10lb under my pre-pregnancy and have been since about 8w. But since then my weight hasn't changed, despite changing my macros, being in a 500 cal deficit from exclusive bf'ing, exercising and weighing what I eat. So bro science, in your opinion, or not, there are a lot of women that don't lose when breastfeeding no matter how hard they try.0

But the questions remain: what is your daily calorie goal per the site? How are you tracking your food? Do you have a food scale?
No sense being frustrated. You have to be accurate regarding your calorie intake. As stated in the first response, if you're not losing weight then you are eating too much.0 -
