And taking anything, even cold pills, which are totally legit for a cold, to suppress your appetite is asinine. Not that you asked the question, but I think that's what you're getting at.

Gahhh, that is so true. I never understood why people close old threads or complain about them coming back... a lot of times the information is still useful to reference.1 -
Just posting this for people that come here later after googling if you can lose weight using Sudafed and find this thread. A common side effect of Sudafed is an increase in blood pressure and heart rate while taking the meds. Using Sudafed to try and lose weight is not a good idea, especially if you have high blood pressure.0
