Do you eat the calories from exercise?

I been following the diet, some days I am so hungry that I eat my calories from exercise. Some days I don't. I have not lost any weight, but gained. What do you think?
Thanks Raquel

Make sure you are drinking lots of water! If you think you had enough, drink more. More protein and sleep. Be patient and it will happen. Good luck.

Weigh in only once a week on the same day (in the morning). Weigh all food with a food scale and log accurately. Make sure you only eat 50% of your excercise calories and that you are only logging actual excercise (no excercises from doing the dishes for example). If you go over your calories one day then maybe cut your calories the next day or next few days. See how that goes for a couple of weeks/month and if still gaining weight then maybe see a doctor. If no medical problems you maybe selecting the wrong foods from the database as there are a lot of inaccurate ones

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't but it never made any difference to whether I lost, maintained or gained weight.

I never gained weight unless I ate more than my NET maintenance level of cals and never lost weight unless I ate less. I am maintaining my weight now because "on ave" I am eating and exercising enough to keep my weight in stasis.

It's all about CICO. That's all that matters. So, if you are gaining weight, you are taking in too many NET cals and you simply need to exercise more and/or eat less. That's it.

personally - I did jenny craig and lots a ton of weight! So I recommend that - but any plan works if you stick with it. I would not eat the calories from exercise. Go 1 week without eating extra calories because you exercise... and see how you do. Also drink half your weight in ounces of water. Also make sure you eat about 1200 calories (if say you are under 200) and that will likely help you...

Use the barcode scanner app for MFP on your phone also and weigh everything. So if you have a fruit and it's strawberries - have 6 ounces (9 calories per ounce).Good luck whatever plan you are on - and perhaps sonsult a dietician or doctor - as I don't know your personal story.

I eat all my exercise calories, mostly 2-3 miles a day walking plus about 35 mpw running, with occasional stationary bike as xt. I don't count random steps that register on my step counter, just intentional exercise. That works for me. When I was trying to lose weight, I lost faster than expected. Now that I am maintaining again I raised my calorie level and have been stable for several months. I have some days over and some under, but it averages out to eating at net.
