Also, the last couple of doctors appointments I've been to my blood pressure has been in the normal range. I'm so excited about that because it was getting high.20

Last week I could barely walk after leg circuit but this week I did an extra round and could walk just fine.22

Blood glucose was 90 first thing this morning! Lowest ever morning reading, I usually wake up with it elevated. Probably due to lots of cycling intervals yesterday. Also, my blood pressure has gone from borderline high to 110 / 75.20

Decided to put on my white "ABBA" home pants while listening to ABBA and cooking with a friend. They fell off my butt and hit the floor quicker than you can say ABBA. Tried to put an older belt in them - it didn't have enough holes to keep the pants on. Double victory!33

ran outside in pubic in a sports bra.
20 years of obesity kills self esteem so for me this was huge deal.47 -

Congratulations! Getting out there is so difficult if your confidence has taken a beating.
I hope you meant "public", though, or you could get in some serious trouble!26 -
I was going to delay buying any more clothes until I couldn't stand the bagginess anymore, but now it's hot and I have no warm-weather clothes that aren't clown-like. Off to the store to buy shorts and tanks. I started at size 22; the shorts will be somewhere around 14.37

Finished Week 4 of C25K We are halfway through the programme!
And my son found today's workout much easier (he struggled with the previous two of Week 4) so we won't have to go back to Week 3 after all23 -
I have lost 4.25 inches total from my arms, chest, waist, and hips since February. (And gained 1 inch in calves and thighs). It doesn't sound like much, but I'm trying to keep in mind that it's 4.25 inches I would still have if I had just sat on my butt and ate junk for the last 3 months!29

Wore a sleeveless top put in public for the first time in 10 years.29

Within the last week I have lost track of the number of people who come up to me and say..
"OMG! You look so much like your girls now! I wasn't sure if it was you or 1 of them!"
Both of my girls are around 130lbs... I am at 158 right now, down from 250.39 -
The scale FINALLY moved! I've been stuck at 146 for a few weeks and it finally moved to 144 this morning.31

We are about to have 3-4 days of rain/snow and our yard desperately needed to be mowed. I was able to quickly mow it before the rain came. I did it in about half the time it took me to do last year, and I wasn't out of breath or tired.
I have now lost more than my 8 year old son weighs.
A stranger at my kids school, stopped me to comment on how good I looked. She could tell I was losing weight.30 -

I ran a 5k today!!31

My work pants slide off without unbuttoning or unzippering which I didn't notice until I was inspecting an attic today. I nearly pants myself when they snagged on a nail and I kept crawling. Now, I need new work pants. It's a safety issue.25

triathlete that has started swimming at my gym told me I swim well this morning! yay!
she is soooo fast and doesn't look like she puts any effort in. And I know I can swim 2.5km without stopping if I fight the boredom, but increasing speed is my 'failure' - she gave me some tips too so gonna work on my kick21 -
The owner of my gym, who is a competitive bodybuilder, complemented my delts!!!29

I just accidentally did an hour of Zumba. I was planning to do 30 minutes while my husband was busy and then make lunch when he got back, but he stayed gone longer than expected and I lost track of time. I definitely didn't have the endurance to do an hour of cardio without breaks a couple months ago.32

In one more pound I will be overweight. My BMI is 29.98, but all the calculators round it up to 30.0.36

When I first joined my gym four months ago, my hips were too wide for me to use the triceps machine where you sit down and push the handles down. The handles hit my hips and I couldn't complete the move. Last week I tried it again. I fit with room to spare and was proud of the progress in how much I could successfully complete!44

Put on a pair of formerly too tight jeans this am- buttoned and zipped easily
Bought a swimsuit without trying it on, down one size from what I was sure would fit, for motivation. Fits great, which turned out to be MORE motivating.27 -
Going to a Sporting KC match and not only fitting in my seat comfortably. But finally being able to wear the jersey I bought 3 years ago to said match.70

In February I bought a pair of white shorts that were a bit too tight. I am wearing them today and they are too loose.27

Accompanied DH to his oncologist appointment today and the Dr. greeted me and said "Wow, you've lost a lot of weight! 25-30 pounds?". I last saw him 6 months ago at 31 pounds heavier. It felt really good to know such a busy Dr. is so attentive to his patients and their family. Only 3 more pounds to normal BMI.38

Finally, after a really frustrating month so far, I actually managed to hit my target cycling distance today
I set a target for this month (you have to have a goal to work towards, after all) which has been falling by the wayside due to rain, wind, rain, wind, you get the picture. So my daily target has been shooting up, on 1st May it was 25 miles/day but by this point in the month it had crept up to 40 miles/day .
It took three trips, but today I hit 41.09 miles. And I clocked 40.2 mph going down a hill which is just so satisfying.
Sadly rain is forecast again tomorrow so I fear that my target for May will become unattainable but never mind. I'll keep on trying23 -
I promised myself whenever I loose 10 lbs, (I've actually lost 11lbs) that I'd buy myself a new shirt/top. Well today, I bought a really nice top....NOT from the PLUS SIZE WOMENS section for the first time in years. Woo-hoo. Now working on the next 10 pounds. Maybe I'll get new pants next time to go with the top.44
