Hey all. I've been working hard to try and get down to my goal weight and could use some more friends. Not a lot of people I know use myfitnesspal, so it becomes a little boring.

I'm trying to lose about 70 pounds altogether, I've already lost 20, but find some days a much harder than others.

Would love to make some new friends to help motivate one other and share tips and ideas.

20lbs is a great achievement! Most people will have a few bad days on their journey but don't let it get you off track. Keep up the hard work you've been putting in so far and you'll get your 70!!

20 pounds is a great start, congrats!! I don't tell anyone I use it either, so I kind of rely on my news feed of my friends on here to keep it going. That way after a few weeks, you kind of get used to others who are maybe in the same boat as you, and you can discuss ways to keep up the good habits.
    Good Luck!

Thank you. I have done this journey a few times, I would get frustrated and stop. But this time I changed things up and I'm more motivated now than ever before.

I had a baby five months ago, and I gained 70 pounds. I lost 35 of them and have 35 to go. I am having a really tough time too. I don't know too many folks on myfitnesspal, but would love to support each other. I am eating about 1350 calories a day, working out 3 times a week, drinking a ton of water, cutting back on carbs and sugar and the scale hasn't budged in about a month. I know how frustrating it can be!

I am in the same boat. I lost weight before using weight watchers but really don't have time to go to meetings with my job. I was hoping to do it on fitness pal but I am missing the encouragement and accountability of others. None of my friends do this and my husband is not supportive in this journey....not sure why but it is something that I am determined to do for myself. I would like to lose 50lbs but I sure hate to exercise and once again with my schedule I have to find creative ways to do it.

me too! you all can add me please. I am trying to find more active people and people that are honest about what they are actually eating. I am, I just ate a spicy chicken from mcd and I logged it. It helps make me realize how much food like this affects me, my weight and my goals. I usually log right before I eat so I know what I am up against. but I didn't for the sandwich.
Anyway I am also looking for friends that have are mfp active, have lost weight or are in mid weight loss because my biggest issue is "what should I eat?" So I think being able to look at others diary will help A LOT!!
