Broke though my 250 milestone last week. It came a couple weeks late, but it finally came!
Next one is to make my half way point of 245 (-50lbs) by June 1st.16 -
Weighed in at 172 lbs. this morning, so I'm looking forward to get under 170.
Beyond that, my next mini goal is to fit into my good cycling clothes again. My best jerseys are what is known as "race fit", which are very closely cut. They're still a bit snug, but maybe will fit when I get closer to 160.9 -
My mini goal is getting out of the 150s. I'm right smack dab in the middle at 155 exactly.8

2.8 lbs to GOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLL!!!!!!!!!!! Mini goals are the best piece of advice I got on MFP. Without them, I'm sure I would have given up months ago. I can't believe its in sight! Still terrified to be this close and that I will slack off.18

To break into the 130's by summer. I haven't been in the 130's for 25 years. I want to turn back the clock.

Lost 51 lbs. so far and never thought I would do it.
I'm 60 and it goes to show it's never too late!18 -
I just wanted to check in and say that I met my previous mini-goals! I finished the tri in 1:45:28, which was below my 2 hour goal. I was not last overall (573/669), nor in my age group (95/115), so my goals were met. It was a very rough week, with my knees acting up all week and my father-in-law's funeral the day before the tri, so I am actually proud, as I had considered not even doing it but the family insisted. My knee started popping out and hurting very badly at the beginning of the 2nd 5-mile bike lap, and continued to pop and ache during the "run" (I walk due to severe osteoarthritis). I did the walk pushing my daughter in the stroller to lead by example. I did this same tri 3 years ago after training MUCH harder and without any of the complications, and I beat that time by 6 seconds overall, which is a win in my book. Just finishing was a win, to be honest. AND I am now finally "overweight" for the first time since early childhood. I have been obese, morbidly obese, and super-morbidly obese for the past 30+ years.
I guess my next mini-goals will be to do the 5Ks I had scheduled for the next 2 Saturdays, to find a team to relay another tri with, and to get into the 150's.23 -
My current goal is to stay motivated for longer than 30 consecutive days. I tend to be really successful for a month, and then decide I don't have the mental bandwidth for more, but this time I'm saying it to a bunch of strangers on the internet (you!) so I have to do it, right?15

1.1lb away from -80LBS21

I have two mini goals, 1. Be able to order a pair of 5.11 tactical pants and have them fit, waist size goes to 44. and 2. My parents are coming to visit in three weeks. I'm 50 and I dread that look that says "You're fat, where did we go wrong?" I'm hoping to get the slacks so I don't mind the look. Only eightmore lbs to go.9

1.2 pounds to lose and hit total of 50 pounds lost11

I've got a few.
1) Get back under 200lbs (4-5lbs away).
2) Fit into the next jeans size down. I can fasten them but not really move and I don't want to buy any more my current size!
3) Make it to the end of the 10 week beginner running club (week 2 was this week) in tact and be able to jog 5k no matter how slowly.8 -
Trying hard to get to Wonderland for my husband's birthday, June 15th, 5 pounds to go. That might be a bit of a stretch.
July 27th supposed to ride for a long air flight. Would like to fit the seats the best I can.6 -
Getting some of my "old fat clothes" to fit again.... The "fat" clothes....3

Nieces bday party in a few weeks2

Making it to the 160's!! I was 171.5 this morning. I'm officially the smallest I've been in four years. I'm so excited to be so close to 169.10

My first mini goal was to break into the 180s, which happened last week.
My next mini goal is to lose 10% of my starting weight (about 20 lbs) by the end of July. I am about halfway there now. We're going on vacation at that time, and I'd like to reward myself with a cute new swimsuit.
Once I reach that mini goal, I'll be about halfway to my ultimate goal weight, which will be quite the motivator.8 -
Onderland achieved. Next mini goal is a healthy BMI. 19 pounds away.21
-
This is kind of a bigger goal,at least in that it's been bugging me for years, but it's a mini goal now in that I think I'm maybe close.
I really can't stand when I get chafed from my thighs rubbing against each other, especially hot humid summer days when I'm walking around in a skirt! I realized this week that between another 10-15 lbs list, and some lunges, I should get to this point soon!17 -

Loving all the people that were saying wanting to loose the same weight as what their children weigh currently. I have been keeping track of that as well. So far I have lost my 2 year old's weight(26 lbs) and my 5 year old's (37lbs). Now I am trying to loose how much my 7 year old weighs, 50 lbs. When you can see that sort of physical weight in front of you it really gives you a different perspective and idea of the actual amount that has been lost.
Good job everyone, keep up the good work!
Currently at 138(it's been four years since I weighed this). It will probably take me over a month to get to 120s. So instead I am focusing on loosing 50 lbs total since I started tracking cals and exercising. 5 lbs to go. I also started 30 day Shred(level1day4 completed today) and I am looking forward to getting to the halfway point.
I made it to 50 pounds lost. I'm sitting at 131 lbs. I did the Shred for a week but the only time I could do it was at night after kids were in bed. I hated working out twice a day. Once I get closer to my goal weight I'll start adding strength at the gym when I go. My new mini goal is to get into the 120s, haven't been 129 for 5 years. Then my next mini goal is 125(weight I was when I first got pregnant with eldest child).
I am humored that when I hit 130(1 lb away) I'll have lost the same amount of weight as what my 7 year old weighs.

One of my fitness goals is to run an 8 minute mile outside. On the treadmill I got a 8:20 comfortably. My fastest time outside without really trying was 8:30. I am a slow runner and not much love for sprinting. I9

Previous goal was to work out 6 days this week. I swapped out today's cardio DVD for a leisurely walk but I'm still going to count it. It was too nice out to exercise inside. So... Next goal is to work out 6 days next week. Onederland (again) is also a possibility as I was 202 lbs this morning. If not this week, then next!11

Hit my first mini goal of being under 300 this past week. Next one is 250 #18

Today I have re-taken and lost below that weight! Coincidentally, the whooshy nature of the loss from yesterday, 1.8 lb, puts me right at the top line of my target weight range. My target range is wide and I want to get to the middle of it another 10 lb below, this is an awesome feeling.12 -
Well, I completed my last mini goal which was to lose 15lbs before I go home at the end of may (I'm in the USA for work, and I've been since the beginning of April). Woo hoo!
Next mini goal is to get out of the obese BMI (4 more lbs) then to lose 10% of my overall body weight (6 more lbs).
Setting myself these mini goals to complete by June 15th.10
