One of my favorite treats is spiralized Jicama cooked in the oven with a little olive oil, salt and paprika. Spiralized sweet potatoes cooked on the stove is my go to side dish.

Anyone have a good recommendation for buying a spiralizer? There's a big range in prices.

This is the one I got from Amazon. It has suctions on it to hold it steady on the counter, and is pretty easy to clean. When I store it, I use a massive twist tie so the turning knob part doesn't fly off.

I love the recipe ideas shared here! I'm going to have to look them up! One of my favorites that I've done so fare is a quick stir fry with zucchini and summer squash. So good with a little soy sauce in the wok!

I just made a spiralized sweet potato, garlic, spinach and prosciutto "pasta" last night. It was amazing. All the flavors combined really well.

I've had the paderno for four years and given away four too. Price is good, it's still going strong.

I have a spiralizer but don't use it very often. I occasionally make sweet potato fries or raw beet salad. But mostly it sits in the cabinet with my many other forgotten kitchen gadgets while I reach for my trusty knife.
