My nephew who is in the airforce is coming back from Germany in July, I haven't seen him in over a year. My sister and youngest niece whom I haven't seen for even longer are coming up at the same time. I was a size 18-20 when I saw them all last. I'm in 12-14 right now. Hoping to get under 185 before they come home for the visit.20

250 lb squat by August 5th.10

Mini goal: under 210 lbs by Friday!
2017 goal: unassisted pull up!8 -
Size 4 jeans I got at goodwill, they are worn enough to have that nice soft feeling and have enough rips in that I won't feel half naked. It's a lot to ask to get my fat butt in them but I really want to preferably before they fit my 10 year old who growing like a weed.9

Met my previous mini goal of overweight bmi instead of obese this morning.
Next mini goal = be lower than my previous lowest adult weight of 164.7. That is 10.1 pounds away.14 -
I'm 5.3 pounds away from moving from "obese" into "overweight" BMI. I haven't been simply "overweight" in at least 3 years, and I've never been "normal" weight as an adult or teenager. So, my next mini-goal is to lose 10% of my SW (1.5 lbs) and my next mini-goal is to be overweight (5.3 lbs). And, only 41.8 more pounds until I have a "normal" BMI . . . . I'm already 1/3 of the way there!11

To reach 100 lbs lost. Weighed in the other day at 325 lbs and I started at 415 lbs so I have 10 more lbs to go this is really exciting then after that I can work on getting under 300 lbs which will be the most exciting.20

I was searching for a goal...something to put a little more direction into my workouts...so, in a weaker moment, I signed up for my first ever Sprint Triathlon (1/2 mile swim, 15 miles cycling, & a 5k run).
I ran an 'unofficial' practice Sprint-Tri two weeks ago and did not come in DFL (Dead-*kitten*-Last) but I was definitely at the back 10% of the pack. But I still finished it.
I have no illusions about winning, but barring an injury, I will definitely finish my 'official' Sprint-Tri in July.15 -
I'm trying to go to the rock climbing gym in town twice a week for an hour each. So far I can do about 40 minutes before my arms get all shaky and feel like they're giving out.
I want to be able to stay for an hour before school starts back up again!

My mini goal is 5 extra pounds. Haven't seen my gf in 6 weeks and want to show lots of progress.10

My current goal is 163 - which will move me from obese to overweight according to BMI.
8 lbs to lose. This is my first mini goal.
So excited! I'm two lbs from this mini-goal, which is actually pretty huge for me!
The only previous time that I had so much motivation to lose weight was before my wedding. I have my 15th anniversary next month. That's a LONG time!!!11 -
I going on my first cruise in October. How much can I lose before then? (Shooting for at least 50 lbs.)6

I just accomplished my first mini goal - to go on a roller coaster...well, to fit in the seat to be able to ride a roller coaster. It was close but I did it!
I am also working on getting below 300 by my birthday next Thursday. I am 2.3 pounds away. It may be close, but I am really busting my chops to do it.
Once I hit that goal, my next goal is to get down to 250 by Christmas. So far I've lost about 53 pounds since January. Tracking every day, treating myself once in a while, drinking water and exercising. It's been hard but it feels so good!
I have found that mini goals are really key to success.13 -
Most immediate goal - eliminating one diabetic med when I go back to doctor in June. I have dropped my fasting a.m. readings from mid 200's to under 120 every morning. 25#, healthy eating and exercise! Then by end of 2017 eliminating meds altogether.8

So just updating some mini goals I made earlier...
- Reach 40 lbs total loss - I'm a little over 1 lb away, so I'm hoping this happens at this weeks weigh in.
- Complete C25K - still going strong...I start week 4 today.
- Lose a minimum of 15 lbs by August 1st - since I made that goal I'm down almost 6 lbs, so just about 9 lbs to go.
- Make it to the 180s - just about 7 lbs to go.
They all still seem within reach!7 -
Started at 66.5 (146.6 pounds) and here i am 3 months later having only lost 2 kilos (4.5 pounds) . Mini goal:
1.Lose another 2 kilos (4.5 pounds) until 19th of june
2. Lose 4 kilos (8-10 pounds) until mid july.
Is it plausible....????4 -
My current mini goal is to get under 170 lbs. I've weighed in under that the last two days in a row, but I track my weight in an Excel spreadsheet and have a column that calculates a 7-day moving average (to smooth out daily fluctuations) and I won't consider it "official" until that average is under 170.
Next goal is 164 lbs, which will move me from the "overweight" to the "normal" category.7 -
My mini goal is to just stay under the calories I have allotted myself, and to exercise just a little bit every day.6
-
I have two mini goals. To lose 15lbs and to get a 35 inch waist7
-
to be able to complete a marathon in 6 1/2 weeks. not run it all, but to cross the finish line, in 6 1/2 hours. And to lose 6 more pounds by then (to be at 155lbs, im currently bouncing from 159 to 161)5
-
I am closest to goal 180s as at 193 now.
Slightly bigger goal 174 makes me normal weight.
Also working on c25k as in August I will run the entire 5k at the winery.

My mini goal right now is 3 mini goals, lose 30lbs before the start of my last semester of nursing school. So 10lb a month. It'll be a total of 60lbs down, but I'll still need to lose another 10-20lb.5
-
My mini goal is to get into the 150's. Its been a few years since I have been there.

Swimsuit season lol8
-
To get under 85kg, I'm 1,2kg away!8
-
To be under my pre-baby weight from my last baby, 205 lbs, by August 9th, my 30th birthday. Only 9 lbs away. Thinking I may revise this to be 200lbs by then. That would be a total of 30lbs lost. Which I think would be fitting.13

Getting below 200 lbs., which I have not seen for about 20 years. I have lost 70 lbs. so far. It was hard work, but worth every second. I feel so much better with the weight coming off, clothes in smaller sizes and no longer needing a cane to walk. Two weddings coming up (June and October), boy will everyone be surprised when they see me! I can't wait. Contemplating in training for a 5K in fall of 2018. This is something I would never have even thought to do before.15

My highest : 240lbs
Starting : 229lbs
Current : 189lbs
Goal : 171lbs (healthy BMI and body fat %)
In my teenage and adult life I've never seen anything below 180lbs, so the thought of it being so close is kind of scary, cause that's a new me, completely, especially that my shapes are shifting with weights and cardio.
How do you guys determine what even is the goal? The mirror/scales/BMI ('normal weight' is still a wide range)/dress size?
I'm so close I've started to panic about 'what then?will that be enough?'

I made it to 50 pounds lost. I'm sitting at 131 lbs. I did the Shred for a week but the only time I could do it was at night after kids were in bed. I hated working out twice a day. Once I get closer to my goal weight I'll start adding strength at the gym when I go. My new mini goal is to get into the 120s, haven't been 129 for 5 years. Then my next mini goal is 125(weight I was when I first got pregnant with eldest child).
I am humored that when I hit 130(1 lb away) I'll have lost the same amount of weight as what my 7 year old weighs.
We went on vacation in February, about three months after i decided to get healthier, and I kept walking around holding my littlest, marveling at the fact that I had lost more than his weight off of my body...that I had been walking around carrying that much extra all the time!
