Hey! So I'm currently 115 pounds and as this is a healthy weight for me, I can't help but want to be lower as my body doesn't look fit at all! I'm chubby and not what you would think of when you think of a 115 pound person? What gives ?

Are you four feet tall? Sometimes what we think we see in the mirror isn't reality. If you want to see more muscle definition, eat to maintain your weight and lift heavy weights.3

If you want a lean look then you have need to GAIN lean muscle ... you do that by adding strength training to your exercise regime.4

weight is a relative thing. a BMI scale (uses an average) says l m borderline obese but i m not even chubby. 'healthy' weight does not necessarily equal to 'flat' abs, unfortunately it really depends on ur genes. if u r not one of the lucky ones then u have to work at it. one of the best way to gain definitions (nothing bulky) n burn fat is full body interval training or HIIT for ur specific need. do a utube search n there would be tons of them so follow the ones u like n do them 3 or 4 times a week.
heres an example. her form is so so but the exercises r good ones

also, u should use MFP to eat at a slight deficit, around 15 to 20% to help with the fat loss2 -

Unfortunately, depending where you genetically hold fat, you might have to get "crazy" definition to get flat abs. And while I am male, I know I have no way of getting flat abs without getting really defined arms, legs and back.
But I'd also recommend a recomp.4 -
Exercise is what you need. It can make your body more firm, change your posture and make you more fit.2

I'm the same, and I realise even tho I gained a little through lifting weights I look leaner but I completely understand what you mean, I recommend working on toning the body through light weights0

Another vote for recomp. Check out this very helpful thread:

There's no way you are chubby at 5ft4 and 115lbs.
Skinny fat is a possibility though.3
