I'd copy down the ingredients on the package and try to recreate it at home. Just mix some chickpeas, kale and brown rice together, for example. Slow cook some lamb and toss it in. See if the label says what types of herbs/spices they use and add a few pinches. Then if it's really good, come here and post your recipe for the rest of us to try.

Okay, so start with the "real" ingredients: tomatoes, cooked couscous, beef, sweet potato, chickpeas, carrot, kale, freekeh (looked for cracked freekeh in middle eastern grocery stores and toast in a dry pan for a few minutes), uma beans (I have no idea what this is) and raisins.

Chop up some fresh coriander and parsley.

Make a dressing out of olive oil, lemon juice, tomato juice, onion, garlic, honey and more coriander. Add some salt. Perhaps try adding a little vegetable bouillon powder.

Mix all together and see how it tastes.

Then realize you just spent more time and money than you had planned and go buy the salad at Woolworth's next time.
