- success: did not eat my daughter's leftovers from all her meals which I usually do. Also kept my calories under control.

I love this challenge as it has made me focus on my choices on a day to day basis. Last challenge I lose .5 pounds - not much, but Mother's Day, son's birthday, hurting my back gave my a lot of inexcusable excuses. Here's to 10 days of NO EXCUSES!

05/24: 140...Went to a concert last night and ate crappy plus I didn't exercise. That's a recipe for a disappointment. I knew I was going to weigh in a little bit more this AM but I'm feeling a bit bummed out. Also feeling motivated to eat much healthier today though! When this semester is over with I know I will have much better control over my eating this weekend, once the semester is over.

I'll give this a go. A little public accountability is not a bad thing at all. As it happens I do weigh myself every day (almost) and take measurements on Mondays. My scale is a digital one that logs to the half pound.
When I came back to MFP 7 weeks ago I weighed 300 lbs. I've weighed myself almost every day, taken measurements every Monday, and recorded my food & exercise every day. I'm also keeping track of days since I last had alcohol, since I know only too well that drinking (besides being empty calories) always leads to eating that has nothing to do with being hungry.

05/23. 251.6 got back from my sister's graduation weekend celebration and weight is about 3 lbs up. Im excited to get back to a routine of exercise and calorie deficits! Have 61.6 lbs to lose to my first re-evaluation of health metrics and im hoping to be there by my birthday next March. On June 1st, I'd like to be at 247.6. may be too ambitious but im hoping to lose some water weight...we'll see!

05/24: 185.6 Scale didn't go down as I had hoped. I ate well and took a long walk. Also had Chipotle salad for lunch (no dressing), so probably too much sodium. Hopefully better tomorrow. Will take another walk today. Sorry for the extra posting. I was having trouble with the last one.

23/5 157lb, no change from yesterday but it is focus song my mind when I mindlessly reach for biscuits!
24/5 156.5lb so down a bit but today hasn't been good, a stressful day at work means I've only eaten a shop bought wrap for lunch and rocky road for snacks, hoping to make a better choice for dinner and resist fish and chips on the beach!

Well I can give it a go I guess! Starting again to dig down deep and watch calorie and carb. I do great until my coworkers pops his darn popcorn everyday at 9:30! It's like a trigger for my stomach to say HEY I'M HUNGRY!
05/23 248.8 - Very busy at work today, co-worker didn't pop popcorn today so I was able to not have to have a 930 munchie! Plus bacon and eggs for breakfast lasted until lunch! Most difficult thing to paring down serving size is filling that little hungry space still left. Guess that's what they mean by "Always room for Jell-O!
05/24 247.3 - Not sure where that pound went! Glad to see it go! Kashi Go Lean yay! enough protein to get me through the morning popcorn event!

I am following ww so my challenge will to be(1) eat with in my daily allowance for the 10 day's and hope to see the scale move down words ,

How early did you weigh yourself? I find if I weigh myself early after a late night out eating, I'll weight more in the morning than I will in the afternoon. Im not a big morning eater so by the afternoon my calories have almost had time to be used up. Since I mostly eat at night, I usually still have leftover calories to be burned in the morning's.1 -

I'll give this a try. Thanks for setting this up. I always weigh everyday & I find it a huge help. Mostly because I also track every day. Being able to look back & see "oh...at this point in my cycle I tend to lose while I always bloat up a couple of pounds at this point" has saved me so much stress, confusing, and heartache. Its nice to see a group who isn't afraid of seeing the natural ups & downs that come with the process.
Starting notes, just finished my first 48hr fast earlier this week (I'm keto). It was easier than expected & helped get things moving again. It went so well I have decided its something I want to repeat at least once a month. I expected a little bit of a gain once I started eating again & got about half a pound back before it went back down again which was also better than expected.
Notes about me, I'm 41, almost completely sedentary (something I'm trying to change, was unwell for a couple of years, feeling better & starting to move around more. Some days I'm more active than others.) I also have significantly annoying hormone issues that like to get in the way, but I seem to have finally found a way around it all)
I aim for about 5lbs per month, anything more than that is a nice surprise
Starting weight this week, 277, goal by the end of these 10days, 275ish.

That may have had something to do with it, I generally weigh myself in the morning though. As for yesterday, I didn't really eat late, I just didn't eat healthy. I guess I will find out what's up tomorrow. In the mean time I am focusing on maintaining a calorie deficit the next few days. *fingers crossed*3 -

Starting weight (5/22): 162.4....from my Mom's scale as we were at their place for the holiday weekend....
05/23: 162.0lbs - Mom's scale wasn't off! I'm thrilled to know I'm officially 20.3 lbs down from where I started in
March. My goal was 20 before our vacation on May 26 so I DID IT!!!
05/24: 161.8lbs - totally forgot to post this morning in amidst my crazy day starting to get ready for our trip...one more day of great habits until vacation time!!

05/23: 204. I’m not expecting to lose weight quickly at this point, so I’m just trying to stay below maintenance every day and see what happens. I accomplished that today.
05/24: 204. I ate more calories than planned, but I attempted to make up for it by doing extra exercise. Not a bad day overall.
