I've always found that reporters have to be borderline heartless. They don't care who gets hurt or what kind of investigation it messes with. As long as they are the first to report the story, that's all they care about.0

I'm from the Manchester area, the US press was publishing names (which were leaked to them immediately) before the kids families had been told, luckily our government has stopped sharing sensitive information with the US's incompetent colander of a government regarding the tragedy which is jeopardising the investigation, beggars belief.0

I'm sickened and beyond saddened about what happened in Manchester, England. I can't read or watch news clips about the parents begging for word on their young daughters, or read about and see photos of the murdered victims and their families without crying.
And more importantly I am OUTRAGED about what happened there. And I hope the British citizens are too.

The news has no moral compass, unfortunately. I gave up on it earlier this year.
Not the NYT in particular...it's not like it gets any better somewhere else...just the news. Blood sells.
I need to live in ignorance and bliss for a couple of years, if I can resist to urge to find out what's happening.

Ha, no worries... I googled it and found a quote from a website that wasn't familiar to me yet struck me as pretty far right wing. I didn't want to link over to that particular site because I don't want to take a political stance here, one way or the other.
Give me a minute and I'll see if I can find the quote on a site that I know to be reputable.
