I thought I was in decent shape but started hitting the gym 4 times a week since I had an extra hour after work before picking my daughter up...cut alcohol out upped protein intake water intake and this is what 3 months did! I learned the scale is nothing but a number because I lost between 8 and 10 lbs but muscle does weigh more!

Great job but pet peeve: Muscle does not weigh more than fat unless you are comparing at specific volumes.
A pound of feathers weighs the same as a pound of bricks.
Muscle is more DENSE than fat and generally looks better on the human body.0 -
