I have been watching my food intake and doing cardio... I have a hour to two hour workout on a daily basis... I just want to tighten up my stomach and my arms... oh and legs... I don't want any hanging fat from losing my weight...

Are you weighing your solids and measuring your liquids? It's all about calories in vs calories out.

you cant spot reduce fat no matter how much you work out. you have to lose fat through a deficit and it comes off where it wants when it wants unfortunately. of course the more you do an exercise the easier it gets because you get stronger and more efficient at doing the exercise. But you do need to eat more.

Yeah there's no way you are eating 1000-1200 calories, working out every day and not losing. You're eating more than you think.

if they get too easy you can move up in weight and you wont get bulky because you arent eating enough to gain a decent amount of muscle and women dont get bulky because we dont have the testosterone that men have, even in a surplus of calories it takes time for women to build decent amounts of muscle.

Plug your stats into MFP and it tells you how much to eat.

First of all you won't "bulk up" by accident. Women just aren't built like that.

Secondly, in order to "tone" you need to lower your body fat %, and that's through diet.

Thirdly, core work isn't necessary for a flat stomach. Find a progressive lifting program.

Lift heavy things, put them back down, profit.

    This!

You can't compare yourself with someone else. Everyone is different and what they are doing might not be healthy.

Eating like this is the opposite way to have a toned body. Women with toned bodies fuel their workouts by eating enough calories. Under eating will cause you to lose muscle and muscle is hard to gain.

Stop taking the pills and learn to eat well without them. If you keep going down this road you'll end up skinny fat, you'll stop taking the pills, you gain all the weight back, and you'll be worse off than you are now because you will have less muscle.

    All. Of. This.

shes wrong you do not get bulky unless you are taking steroids and even then its hard to do.as for someone losing 18lbs a month that is very unhealthy unless they were over 400lbs. you should lose no more than 2lbs a week if you have over 75 lbs to lose. anything under 75 lbs ranges from 1.5 down to .5 lbs a week.

I'm 100 plus over weight.... the doctor and I talked about having a 1,000 calories in a day... and I work out everyday... I'm the type of person that only eats once... so it's hard to change that... so now I'm up to 4 times a day... and today I ate more... lol I consumed 1,600 and burned 600 so I guess that's a good start... I'm only on this diet for a month tho

1000 is too low and most drs have little knowledge about nutrition. you can still eat once a day if that works best for you, but you need to get at the very least 1200 calories. why only a month? losing weight is a lifestyle change not a diet. if you are severely overweight its going to take time to lose that weight in a healthy manner as you didnt gain it overnight.

you should not be losing more than 2lbs a week if you are 100+ lbs overweight. you may lose more at first but eating so little with so much to lose can result in loss of lean mass(muscle and so on),gall stones, and other issues.
