Sports Direct (another Karrimor fan, also got some decent discounted Addidas and Nike leggings in there - under £20), Tesco/Asda for tops, M&M Sports aren't bad either. The only thing I will spend money on is trainers, I love my Asics but can normally search online for a good deal. Primark also has some nice tops, not sure about the bottoms, they have weird sizes/shape.0

They often have under armour flash sales at Sportspursuit I have brought a few things from the site
Massive yes to SportPursuit!
Also TK Maxx if you can be bothered to trawl the rails, and Sports Direct, both for discounted big brands. I'm not much of a fan of Karrimor or USA Pro etc.
I have one to from MyProtein which is ok, but I'm not 100% convinced.
I do love Lululemon leggings though, and they last forever so the cost isn't so bad. There's an outlet at Bicester now (and I just moved round the corner - YAY!) but all the stores have a sale rail, and there's a "we made too much" section on the website too.
And Sweaty Betty sports bras, but always in the sale even if they are in bonkers colours.2 -
I go to TKMaxx and Cotswold. I refuse to shop at SportsDirect because of their Victorian/abusive employment practices.
Kind of off topic but whilst I admire your morals, as someone who worked in a few different retail shops through university - sports direct and TKMaxx actually being two of them (next, new look, jjb) - their employment practices were almost identical. Purely because of this, I completed my two day trial at TKMaxx and found myself a waitress job instead. It seems to be common practice in retail to treat your employees as numbers instead of human beings, which is why I would never return to that industry.1 -

Amazon is normally my go-to, but the quality can be pretty bad in terms of the material being very thin.. If you have any specific outlets, please link me to them?

Haha, so true.. I bought three supposedly identical pairs of black leggings from Primark back in school. One was too short, one had a ridiculously long left leg on it and the other pair.. Well, the length was there but they were a baggier fit. It was more comical than anything - I don't know what I expected from leggings at £3 a pair.1 -
Lidl when it's sports and fitness week, pretty sure that is the next week or so here in Ireland, not sure if it runs the same in the UK. They are very inexpensive, look good and wash well if you aren't bothered about 'named' stuff.0

T K Maxx is worth a look as others have said. M&S have some great sports bras with front zips that are ace0

Thank you. I will take another look at TKMaxx then. It seems to be a race to the bottom in retail that is for sure.1 -

Another vote for Karrimor from SportsDirect. I find then USPro leggings fall down when doing anything energetic.
Also a plug for M&S extra high intensity sports bras0 -
I go to an outlet centre with a Nike shop ( great prices and choice). Got lovely tops from Sainsbury's Tu. I go to sports direct if I have to but they have a very poor selection of running gear for women esp if you don't like pink! Although I did get great winter leggings last year.1

I'm a screen printer by trade so I can get athletic gear wholesale. Womens leggings can be had for around £8-12. I'd understand you not wanting to buy through some random on the internet though.1

I go to sports direct for all my lycra / singlet needs. The two places fit is really important were done 'properly' with two spots bras from John Lewis and trainers from a specialist running shoe place.
Sports Direct has a bad rap in some circles but I don't think it deserves it. The only issues I've ever had were caused by not trying something on before buying it, which is entirely my fault and could happen anywhere.0 -
I buy all my stuff from sports direct (Adidas sports bra for £8? Yes please). The sweatshop which seems to have an eternal sale, they're like the dfs sofas of the fitness world. Next, M&S. The only thing I splurge on is my Reebok trainers because they are amazeballs.0
