My butt cheeks don't touch.
I'm not sure when this happened. I'm not even sure if this can be construed as a "victory". But I realized last night that I have a butt cheek gap now. I'm pretty sure that's new, so I'll take it.23 -
More PRs. 285 lb squat for five last night.11

This is a big one for me, cause makes me really body conscious - a couple years ago I lost weight really quickly and completely changed my diet, and that came with so many of those fat marbles under my skin on my tummy. Now I've noticed, that not only they have become smaller, some of them have completely disappeared ! So happy!
And also it's only Tuesday, but I have done 5 workouts already!23 -
@Kepplekakes I hope I look like that in 20 years!! Amazing!4

So they DO disappear!? I've had one since college and I've been wondering if there was even a chance it would someday disappear. Good to know it *may* that's better than thinking I'm stuck with it forever!7 -
Ran a timed mile yesterday as part of a regular fitness test I do. First mile in 6m or more. I pushed hard and the whole time I was just hoping to come in at 9:30 or so. Imagine my surprise when I finished in 8:19! WOO!24

Jeans I purchased back in the Winter, because my other jeans were getting too snug, officially have to be safety pinned (instead of using the button) so I can make them smaller and continue wearing them! And those too snug jeans fit just right now!19

This morning I cycled 10 miles . . . and . . . got soaked.
This afternoon I walked 3 miles . . . and . . . got soaked
This evening I cycled 23 miles . . . and . . . got soaked, dried out, got soaked right through to my undies and socks, dried out and got soaked again.
I've had to change my clothes three times today. And I am very cold now.
The really sad thing is that I actually enjoyed the exercise, despite the soakings. As I slogged it up one hill on the bike this evening, I was laughing as I got to the top. This may have been hysteria. I can't tell for sure as by that point I was losing my mind ever so slightly.35 -
@jaroby I got them 3 year ago and they have started disappearing/shrinking just now!2

You are well-named, "mad"wife!

Had my on-the-water rowing class tonight. Was chatting with the (very athletic) coach afterwards and she said, "Those who are fit, like you, probably enjoy it more right from the beginning..."
I'm sorry, what? Fit? Like ME?!?35 -
This morning i moved my bra band from the loosest to the tightest. Probably should have been on the middle for a while now.21

Last night was my first acting class. So much fun. And a victory for me in so many ways.28

Haha, that's great. Congrats! It's always nice to get an outsider's perspective

I know, I know. Renowned for it at home
And I'll probably be doing it all again tonight as the weather forecast is pretty atrocious . . .3 -
This was a big one for me - today I scored a ten on the sitting / rising test. This is a test sometimes used to gauge general health and predict mortality - whether it's really valid or not is another subject - but regardless when I started out I couldn't do it. What you do is start standing up in bare feet, cross your legs and lower yourself to the ground without touching anything with your hands. Then you stand back up on your crossed feet, again without using your hands or knees. You get ten points to start with, five for getting down and five for getting up, and you lose one for every time you put a hand, knee, etc down and half a point for losing balance or bouncing.
When I started trying to lose weight in January following abdominal surgery I couldn't get up like that at all - I had to go on all fours and then climb up. More recently I could get up the way you're supposed to with my feet crossed and one hand, which is a score of nine, but I could never manage it without that hand because my legs were too plump to let me easily get my feet under me while crosslegged. And frankly I weigh enough that levering myself out of that position is challenging. But it bugged me that I couldn't do it, so every time I was down on the floor doing exercises I would try it. And today I did it. And then I did it again just to prove it wasn't a fluke. I can do it now.38 -
After bouncing around between two pounds for the last month, this morning I finally weighed in "overweight." My initial goal was to get out of the obese category and that at the time almost seemed impossible. Now, I can hardly wait to reach a healthy BMI.28

Success on wearing my "goal" skirt last night it was comfortable and I felt great! On my way to the show the Lyft driver and I were talking about how I avoid eating out because I want to eat healthy and she responded, "But you're not overweight you can afford to eat out if you want." I had to look around to see if anyone else was in the car haha I did tell her I eat out once in a while just not all the time like I used to28

Lost enough inches to be able to order my first Under Armour gear! One of the first victories I have been looking forward to is being able to buy my next pair of workout pants at Under Armour instead of a plus size clothing store. I was able to get running capris AND two tank tops! (Praying my boobs fit in the tops).32
