Went a little (okay, way) overboard with brownies and homemade candied nuts last night. Back on track today. Noticed that I had a ton of energy at the gym--absolutely bounced through my warmup run--so I decided to tack on a few sets of back squats, which I haven't done in months. Did 100 lbs on my last set, up from 85 last time, and 30 when I started lifting 4 months ago.
New personal best + using that indulgence to fuel a workout (vs running an extra few miles to burn it off) = victory!23 -

They make ring inserts that can make rings a couple sizes smaller without resizing. For example: https://www.amazon.com/Ring-Snuggies-Original-Adjusters-Assorted/dp/B0014DGXU80 -

Type "ring size adjuster" into the search box on Amazon - there are a bunch of products for this, of various types. I'm not saying to buy them there, but it's a quick way to see a bunch of options. Or just use a smaller guard ring on the same finger.2 -
I ran for 15 minutes/ 1.5 miles without stopping and without feeling like I wanted to die. I have never in my been able to run a mile without stopping. What I wouldn't give to tell high school me that this was possible.29

Wore a size 6 pants for the first time in 12 years26

I usually stop at a convenience store in the morning to buy a protein shake. This morning the clerk asked me how much weight I had lost.26

I was running on the dreadmill and since it was dark outside, I could see my reflection in the window. I noticed my neck, collar bones, shoulders and chest are looking much better!21

I bought a smaller stack ring as a stop for mine. Works like a charm! (something with a higher dome or gemstones work better than a very flat/no dome ring... So the other rings won't slip over it....)5 -
I have to up my calories now as my 11 month old is so active12

Fabulous. We change a lot since highschool. One of my friends never ran, now she's a marathon runner7 -
I've had a few in the past week!
Had my hen do (bachelorette) this past weekend and my friends from my old area haven't seen me in close to a year. They all called me skinny and were amazed at how much smaller I was.
My fiancé was going out with his brother and the dad's from both sides as a second stag as they couldn't do the first. His brother said that I looked incredible and was astounded by how I've changed.
The last, and best of all for me as i hated it before due to being self-conscious about my weight, is that my fiancé scooped me up in his arms with ease. He could barely do it before and not for long as his arms would shake! He said it easy. Means he could actually 'carry me over the threshold' in 9 days when we get married!57 -
I've been working on my posture to combat back pain, but now, I feel where my abs are from working on my core two days in a row.12

Last night I actually weighed my snack to get the exact serving size. That is something I rarely would do in the past!20

For the first time ever, I didn't need to even pull my shorts down once while walking today. So glad not to get the frontal wedgie in shorts on my walks!!25

I was grumpy and unmotivated and just feeling out of sorts when I started my run this morning. Apparently that works for me because I ran my 10 mile route in under 96 minutes. That is my best time by almost a full minute!23

Ahhhh. That last part made me a little teary eyed!
Glad it's not just me getting something in my eye...
