Still eat bread and lose weight? I've lost 7kg so far but I'd like to eat rye bread again. Nothing beats toast in the morning. I'm not hungry ot feeling deprived or starving while counting calories. I don't really avoid certain foods all too much either. But i miss bread haha

Yes, if it fits your calories (and macros If you count them)

You can eat anything you want and still lose weight, as long as you're consistently maintaining a reasonable calorie deficit. It's good to shoot for a well-rounded diet overall which meets your nutritional needs, but there's plenty of wiggle room in there for personal preference. I've eaten bread on a daily basis throughout my weight loss.

Ive ate 2 slices almost every day for 2 months. Down 16 pounds.
    You can eat anything.
As long as you're at a calorie deficit you'll lose weight.

Eating what you want would be the reason why you're counting calories instead of following a particular diet.

Yes. Although, I tend to avoid it a lot as it takes up a lot of calories that I'd rather spend on something else.

    This.

I don't eat less bread because it has carbs or whatever. I eat less bread than I used to eat because I'd rather allocate those calories for other things.

Yes. I didn't eat bread daily when I was losing weight, but I ate it regularly. As long as you're in a deficit, you'll lose weight even if you're eating bread. There are lots of people here who often have sandwiches for lunch and they are losing weight.

Yes. You can eat bread and lose weight. As others have said, as long as it fits in your calorie budget.

One more note is to eat protein with carbohydrates (like a good BLT). In short this helps reduce possible muscle loss as the insulin spike will try increase amino acid and glucose absorption by the bodies cells. If the amino acids are not available it will break down available protein to make the amino acids. If free protein is not available (recently eaten), the body will scavenge what it can from muscle fibres to make up the difference.

I eat bread everyday. Most days twice. Regular whole wheat bread in the morning as toast with peanut butter and 100cal wheat thins for lunch. I've messed up twice last 7 days and eaten white bread but it's all fitted in my calories.

Yes!!! Breads are not fattening.. its what you add to it.. I think someone below wrote something to this effect.. it's your total calories that has to do with weight gain/loss.
Just keep in mind that if you eat whole grain breads high fiber and lit's of water with that you are going to feel better ( because usally you will poop. Lol) where if your eating white bread that sits a little in your gut... And if you add protien.. like peanut butter or guacamole it will make you feel full longer.

Think of it like a bank account...

It will get bigger if you put in more than you take out.
It will get smaller if you take out more than you put in.

It doesn't matter if you're putting in pennies or $100 bills. It doesn't matter if the bills are crisp and new or if the pennies are old, dirty, grimy, and tarnished. Nor does it matter how you take it out.

Your body/weight is the same way.

I LOVE rye bread. I eat levy's rye, and 1 slice is around 80 calories. So good. It's the only bread I eat.

I would be sad with no bread. I have an English muffin every morning for first breakfast, and a bread product or pasta two or three times a week at other meals, I just make sure and keep an eye on appropriate portion sizes, and I'm averaging 1.5/wk loss over several months so far.

Not sure where you live but most stores have a healthy version. I eat healthy life honey wheat almost everyday 2 slices is 70 calories. I make a sandwich for lunch with turkey and cheese for under 200 cals. And it tastes great too.
