I Started 376# 57.1 BMI Morbidly Obese (2013) age 65.
Currently 212# BMI Class 1 Obese
Goal 196# Overweight BMI 28.7 by August.
I'm on the 52 pounds in 52 weeks challenge, down 19# since January.
16# to Overweight BMI.
Then will set my official goal weight with my PCP and WWers.2 -
So funny story. I used a BMI calculator that uses feet. I took my height in centimeters and asked google to put that in feet. It gave me 5.74 feet so I put 5 feet 7.5 inches in the calculator. I realised however that 5.74 feet is actually 5 feet and almost 9 inches because inches are 12 to a feet and not 10 to a feet, oops! So my SW was not 34.6 BMI but actually 33.7 lol. I will also have to move up my goal from August to mid-July since I have only 12 lbs to go now instead of 19 lbs.

I have averaged .36 of a pound daily for the last 177 days with a weekly average of 2.54 lbs.

I would estimate my being just simply overweight with a BMI of 29.9 with a weight of 214.6 lbs to be on October 4, 2017
I would estimate my reaching my goal weight of 178 lbs with a BMI of 24.8 to be on January 14, 2018.

I just noticed this challenge. It looks like an excellent idea. Just being classified as "overweight" would be a huge victory.
When I returned to MFP (after a lengthy absence) I weighed exactly 300 lbs. That tells you right there that an alarm bell went off for me. At 5' 10" (70") height my BMI was 43. Which is on Table 2 of the standard BMI calculator. Obese class III. My first target is to get to Obese class II at 271 lbs and a BMI of 39. Then get off Table 2!
As of today I am 284 lbs. Which puts my BMI at 41. A 14lb weight loss will get me to a BMI of 39. I am on the "55 lbs by Xmas" challenge (admittedly not on track) and 7 weeks, if diligent, gets me to the first target, which I'll label "Goal 1".
SW: 300 lbs / 43 BMI / Obese class III
LW: 284 lbs (today) / 41 BMI / Obese class III
CW: 284 lbs (today) / 41 BMI / Obese class III
Goal 1: 271 lbs / 39 BMI / Obese class II
Goal 2: 243 lbs / 35 BMI / Obese class I
Goal 3: 209 lbs / 30 BMI / Overweight
Anything < 200 lbs approaching "normal weight" (according to tables) is simply too far away to fathom.
