In need of support and understanding why I'm so tired!!..I have gained a little over 13lb, and gone from being addicted to exercise/running to being virtually sedentary in 2.5 years..recent bloods say I'm Vit D deficient, and investigating ovarian cysts..I eat well for a couple of days then kid myself I'm ok, this biscuit won't hurt, or another or another..then 6 later I'm feeling guilt. My clothes are so uncomfortable, had to buy a size larger and yet moan about it without doing anything!! Why am I so tired and any support to motivate would help..sorry for the rant

thats a tough one. most people start with some motivation or they aren't here at all. sometimes you have to just do it and the motivation comes later.

start small. pick a goal that is manageable. say log your food for one week. just log it. don't be hard on yourself, just log it. anyone can do anything for a week.

    just do something. anything!

Thank you..I record pretty well (or have been)..but I need to turn to exercise to help boost my loss as from previous experience reduced cals only goes so far..but I'm so bloody tired! I say I'm making excuses, which on occasion I have done, work full time, single mum, get home too tired..but even on days off I just want to not exercise.

I need to look at what I eat wrong, and know I need to get out for that endorphin boost..where has my mojo gone

It's a vicious circle sometimes - eating junk food makes me tired, if I'm tired I don't want to work out and then I get too tired to eat properly so I eat junk food! Having said that ovarian cysts may be affecting your hormones which could make you tired too.

I think if you don't have your mojo then go for baby steps. Choose a slower rate of loss, so 1lb a week instead of 2, aim to exercise every other day or just three times in a week for just 20 or 30 minutes each time. Commit to it totally for one week. By the end of the week you'll probably be starting to pick up a bit and get your groove on!

I hope you find your mojo, I know what it's like to lose it and it's so hard to pick yourself up and start again, but you CAN do it!

    Good luck! xx

Did you start taking vitamin D?

I am now and also B. Could you be anemic?

Once you start exercising, it may give you more energy too.
