He was missing teeth. He is apparently unemployed. When I tried to gently end the date a couple of hours ago, he insisted we go get dessert and then let me pay.

oh dear god lol. How did you get set up on the date? if you dont mind me asking.

My worst date so far wasnt actually that bad. it was more the wrong person. A girl at work who i always thought was cute came up to me one day all blushing and nervous out of her mind. And she started asking the "are you single, do you wanna date someone?" questions and i thought for sure she was trying to work a way in to ask me. So i did my best to ease her worries and got hit with the "great, here is my cousins number. Can you give her a call". The date was fine, but the entire time i was thinking geez, I wish it was this other girl.

Definitely nothing as bad as yours!

Good lord, is it that difficult to find someone to date?

There has to be a crop of desirable people out there.

Where did you find this poor guy?

It is, trust me. It was a Tinder date. Usually I'm a much better screener, but he got past me. :'(

Or live and be single for the rest of my life. (Which I'm actually perfectly okay with given what's apparently out there). :D

Compromising is a lot easier when single.

Funny you should say that...compromise is one thing I can't do very often with out feeling resentful. And I don't expect or want other people to compromise either.

Right?!? I actually do love being single and the longer I am I think the more likely it is I always will be.
