Basic plan is that i truly want to lose 40 pounds by my 40th birthday in October but i need some serious motivational warriors to come after me. I have struggled with weight since the womb and i just need a breakthrough, ya know? I have a 16 year old son and i want him to know and see that his mother will do whatever to be healthy so she can live longer for him. My son is my life. So my life has to be lighter and productive.
Leave your Feedback, tips, motivation recipes etc.. JUST DONT LEAVE NEGATIVITY!!
Thanks

What are your stats? Height weight
Start logging everything you eat before you eat it. Stick with it.
A good idea is to do something gradual that you can stick with for life.

I have 65 pounds to lose and 20 down so far!

I just try to eat as many fruits, veggies, and lean protein as possible to stay full.
Walk as much as I can or keep moving when home.

Most important for me is to have better options of snacks because I'm a night time binger.
90-100 calorie fibre 1 bars, lots of fruit in stock, low sodium crackers, instant oatmeal.

Logging everything before you eat it helps for making better calorie choices too.
When I wake up I plan ahead what I eat for the day.
My meals I make enough for 3 days at a time so less cooking and I'll know the calorie info and not have to worry if I'm in a rush and wake up late which I do a LOT.
I keep tin soup on hand too for this reason so I can grab it and go.
I work in fast food so it's a wayyyy better option than fries and deep fried chicken!

Go luck with your goals I wish you the best!
Hope I've helped even a little.

I'm eventually hoping to lose 115 lbs., having done 51 lbs. so far.
It takes time, but it can be done.
Show compassion for yourself when you stumble.
Focus on the goal-- both when sticking to the plan sucks and when you have a hiccup along the way.
I am posting recipes and think pieces on my blog: http://TheRebuild.ca/ if you wanted to read more.

    All the best,

    Shawn

40lb by October is about 10lb per month or 2.5 per week - for most people this will be too aggressive.

Unless you have a very lot of weight to lose this wont be possible - sorry.

Yeah I'm sorry but you may have to set a smaller goal, but please do not be discouraged. You will be much happier if you stick to having a goal
