Question about "if every day were like today..."

When I complete my daily entry, I like the feature "if every day were like today, you would weigh XXX in 5 weeks". Only, it ALWAYS says 5 weeks
It is like a carrot you can never reach because it keeps moving as you move. Just sayin, I would like to know WHEN I would reach XXX weight if every day were like today - that would be a great motivator! I surely do want to maintain when I reach my goal, but my curent goal has a timeline (which I think I put in when I first signed up) - I want to be more fit (and fit in some pants!) for a big trip on August 4th.
So - what is up with the 5 week thing?? Thanks for reading.

calculate 5 weeks from the current day and that's the day "you would weigh xxx" ....2

I have all my data in a spreadsheet as well as logging here.
You could do that and add a "5 weeks out" column.
That said, I think it's a pretty useless prompt. I never even "Complete" the day. The chance of me eating exactly the same for five weeks is slim and none.3 -

But, But - it ALWAYS says 5 weeks. I want to know WHEN I will FIRST weigh my goal if 'every day was like today" (i.e. - sticking to the cal and micro goals I made).0 -

Starting from June 20th, that's what you should weigh on July 25th. So although it will recalculate and make a new suggestion everyday, just make a note and see where you've actually reached on July 25th.1 -

Oh, that's an idea. Thanks, I will just count 5 weeks from when it FIRST said my goal weight. Thanks.1 -
Also this is just a formula. Bodies aren't machines and not every body drops pounds on schwdule. I think measuring your waist and thighs is more helpful. Just me.1
