My rice cooker and my grandma's cast iron skillet, which is better than any cast iron you can buy today.

Hmmm... my knives and cast irons are essential, though likely not a "gadget."

I love my vitamix, spiralizer and food processor. I have a kick-*kitten* slow cooker that I can sear meat in and cook gravy. No need for other skillets or pans. I use an egg slicer for eggs and strawberries...

I love my Cuisinart 7 cup food processor , my 5 qt Instant Pot , Cuisinart 3.5 quart slow cooker and my LeCreuset Dutch oven

    1. Vitamix - best money every spent on a piece of kitchen equipment
    2. Oster- easy to toast and warm food - much better than a microwave
    3. Small food processor makes it easy to chop onions, peppers, garlic etc. Stops me from cutting my hand with the knife.

My two Le Creuset dutch ovens (in Julia Child orange-red!) that are in the place of honor on my stove top; my particular favorite knives; and my ginormous cherry-red stock pot/gumbo pot. I used to hot-water-bath can in it too, but have a legit pressure canner now.

For an actual gadgety-gadget, my immersion blender. It keeps me from burning myself in new and unusual ways. But I'm not passionate and emotional about it like I am my dutch ovens, stock pot and knives--they will likely be the defining elements of my kids' memories of their mama in the kitchen, along with big piles of herbs, pies, deconstructed chickens, all the home-grown vegetables, and pint after pint of jarred tomato sauce, and peach or strawberry-rhubarb jam.

George Foreman and Instant Pot I guess. Oh and immersion blender.

I kinda want a food processor but I hate cleaning those things, so if I'm going to spend 5 minutes doing something, I'd rather chop veggies than cleaning them (then have to find room to let it dry).

My Kyocera ceramic-blade adjustable mandolin. Shreds cabbage like a champ. Turns a cuke into thin slices for salad in no time. Makes thicker slices of summer squash right into the bowl it will be nuked in. Mine is a few years old and has gone through the dishwasher myriad times but shows no signs of wear. Only about $25 and definitely a gadget.

    A lettuce spinner!

I've seen these in the supermarket, I'm going to ask a really dumb question.... what do you use it for? Just drying off veggies?

    I'll vote for my microwave
C'mon , can't believe no one said that one.
    It cooks things real fast.

Also like the air fryer and Keurig , past that there is not much more I really need

Isn't it amazing how we all take microwaves for granted? A staple for me for sure. I could everything but meat in mine. I've heard if you buy the right microwave foil meat comes out 'okay' in it too.

We all have our favs. Our microwave is seldom used, except for heating a few things.Gave the Keurig back to DD.
Kitchen space is limited.....so no kitchen gifts for us.Amazing how little we can get along with when dealing with a small kitchen.

My mini chopper. It's like a small food processor. It's the only way I can cut or chop onions.

My pressure canner is the best kitchen investment I ever made. I always have homemade beef and chicken stock on hand, along with homemade tomato sauce. I've canned homemade chili, stew beef, casserole-ready chicken, soups for quick meals with no prep time.

I use my blender every day and my instant pot imitation 3x a week. The best thing for my weight loss I did was to learn how to correctly use knives and how to sharpen them.

Wooden cutting boards of various sizes.
    Sharp knives.
    Iron frying pan.
    Immersion blender for smoothies.
    Funnel for my pour-over coffee.
The precious tiny slotted spoon that came in a molecular gastronomy kit I got as a gift.
Various small handle-less pottery tea cups that I find aesthetically pleasing on my open kitchen shelves and that I use mostly as mise-en-place pots, for whisking together small amounts of salad dressing or sauces, and to hold premeasured amounts of calorie-dense snacks, like nuts.

I love my electric pressure cookers, all three of them in different sizes. My Perfect Cooker, I make soup for one in it as my hubby is not a soup eater so this way I can still have soup and not waste. I love my Oster French Door convection oven, my two air fryers, my Ninja blenders and bullet, my pull chopper, and my spurtles. I have issues. Can you tell? hehe

My boyfriend. Because I don't cook.

But seriously? I'd die without my Ninja Coffee Bar. A Flat White with espresso (except in a regular large mug) everyday... but no sweets or added calories because I just whip the 0% organic milk. Gym fuel that feels fancy.
