So I know you're supposed to drink half your bodyweight in water and for a couple of years I have been doing that. Now, I'm kind of getting sick of water so I've been using those water enhancer zero calories no sugar one like the Mo and Crystal Light ones. My question is does it still count as getting your water intake if you use those?

A better way to test if you are drinking enough water: (you really don't need that much water)
Look at your urine. If it's pale/light yellow, you are ok. If it's cloudy or brown, you are de-hydrated.
Note that bright yellow could mean that you just took your multivitamin.

    Yes.

But you know the whole drink half your body weight thing is a myth though?

How is it a myth? Because I've been drinking half my bodyweight in water to lose body fat and so far it has been working because our body is 70% water and it goes out and we need to restore it

Drink what you're thirsty for. That water chugging thing has been debunked.

I've never understood why everyone doesn't do this. I'm usually thirsty, except when I'm pretty well hydrated. Drinking makes it go away for a while, then I get thirsty again and drink more water.

My girlfriend just never experiences thirst. I don't get it. She'll have something to drink with each meal because they go together, but won't drink otherwise unless I remind her. Even if it's hot and we've been sweating.

I think some people just don't have reliable thirst.
