That "lunge" video demonstration was the best. Step over Mandingo!

It's obviously silly, but it actually could be an excellent trainer's tool to teach squatting form to newbies. Better than box squats & TRX since it gives support. :+1:
I teach sit squats to newbies all the time. It's just a matter of foot placement for many.

YES!!! SO MUCH WINNING IN THIS VIDEO!!!!!

"Sign me up I need 12!" LOL. I am so glad I started on the MFP forums before work today. This put a smile on my face. It also made me decide to add 5 more pound to my high bar squat today as a penance for my liking it so much.

I had enough trouble as a former dancer transferring my weight into my heels, this would 100% have not helped! Would give the office block across the road a good laugh though! And yeah the lunge was............

What's most hilarious about these fitness infomercials is how many have hot greased up women in them. Sure mr marketing man, that's totally aimed at women.

:D Gazelle Edge glider, lol. Got it in 2008 through work; they had a gift catalog. When you hit a milestone year, you got to choose something out of it. Gifts got better/pricier the longer your tenure. The glider was a 10-year length-of-service gift.

All of these types of products makes me think of a certain MST3k skit.

    I present...the Square Master!

(starts at 2:20ish for those who don't care for some MST3k Invention Exchange nostalgia):

I got one for FREE when a neighbor was getting rid off it. Way too easy to do and even after a half hour on it, I never even breathed hard. 2 months later I left it out in front of my house with a FREE sign and that same day it got picked up by someone.

The half-hour mark is about when I start breathing hard, but then I'm slowly getting into better shape. Eventually, I may splurge for something better. For right now, though, it suits my needs.
