Cardio before lifting?

    As a beginner you're probably fine doing light cardio before smaller weights, it's when you try and do something like HIIT and then go try and squat half your body weight where you run into troubles. Basically whatever you exert yourself more on should be last

    Heyyy some of us are just starting out and half your body weight seems like a lot :(

    I prefer it after, but lots of days my classes are scheduled with Body Combat first (Cardio) followed by Body Pump (Barbell & Dumbbell) class... and it doesn't seem to make much difference except in how shaky my muscles may already be from aggressive kicking and punching. It doesn't matter much, though as far as effectiveness. Just whether or not it helps/inhibits you personally.
