need a new word for "lost"

I hate saying "I have lost weight" That implies I want to find it again. Which I never want that 40 pounds back again! So what are some good suggestion besides lost! I was thinking I have "shed" "sweated" ect, any ideas! Feel free to share!

can you tell I am bored at 1am? :)
