Flirty pet names
Options
Hey I need some help!
I've been seeing a new guy for a couple months now and things are progressing nicely, but I feel it's too formal to keep using his name in texts. Saying "babe" kind of freaked him out a few weeks ago even though I meant nothing by it.
Surely there's some cutesy pet names I can use for him.
I mean, I don't want him to read too much into it. Not jumping into marriage yet.
I suck at the sweet nickname shiz that I see all over everyone's walls around here. Can someone help a sister out?

I use hun, cutie pie, sweetie pie, darling, babe, baby (even I feel weird about using that one though, I just use it to try to change it up). I'm new to relationships, and we're at 4 months, but even at 2 months we were using "babe" a lot, so another dude being freaked out by it that early suggests that we got super comfortable super quick, so maybe these still are too serious for him.
Maybe try obviously joking ones but ones that are still cute? I think along the lines of baked goods, so sugar butt, cinnabun, beignet...0 -

Maybe you could take a version of his name in Spanish or French and call him that...it'll irritate the crap out him until he finally accepts "babe".Avocado_AS5 wrote: »I call him "dude". Probably not flirty enough huh?

He walks in the door, "'Sup dude".
