New Kid on the block

:) hey folks!
I'm new here. This is my 4th week on fitness pal. A friend suggested using this app to track my habits. In just the small amount of time here I am seeing great results. I am better understanding what I should eat and what I shouldn't. Fitness pal has also helped change my mentality towards exercising and eating. I won't call it dieting because to me diet = starvation. In my first 2 weeks I lost 5 lbs. Quite an accomplishment even though I ate more foods than before. Just healthier.

    Good job on your successes thus far. Keep at it.
    I am returning after a few dormant years due to illness which helped put on all I lost and then some.
    Working my way back in to balance out my portions and increase protein. Cardio will be my friend at the gym along with a specialized routine designed around my restrictions
