12 days and 185.600 steps later (15.467 steps per day), I'm at 264.6. My weight suddenly went up for a couple of days, I guess it was water rentention. But now it's dropping again, so I'm good.4 -

current weight is 236 hoping to be 226 by the end of July. I'm not very active right now but I do have some walking tapes. Did decide to wear my fit bit to see how much I actually do. It ranges from 6000 to 8000 steps a day. Hoping to join a gym for aerobic classes and water aerobic.. Good luck all.2 -

I had to reevaluate my caloric goal. Turns out, I was eating too much. Who knew *insert sarcasm*

7/2: 197 No pounds lost, but I took my measurements and I lost 5 inches all over my body. Since that's the case, I'm not so upset about the numbers staying the same this week.
7/10: 196.8 Went up and finally back down. I actually had to recalculate my calories because I just wasn't eating enough. Hopefully now I'll be able to lose a bit more and a bit quicker.2 -

Today the scale says 155.8.
When is it time for a new scale? I've had mine almost 10 years and I feel like it just picks random numbers...

I'd say after ten years it's time for a new one. I bought a new one recently because it wasn't digital. I find I can't weigh myself everyday because it gets discouraging. You can do this.1

You're right. It is discouraging but then I think if I had only weighed myself today, and not yesterday also it would be even worse because today I apparently weigh more than my starting weight and yesterday I was 3 pounds under!

My Doctor from Glenwood Clinic told me if scale is 3 points away from the weight taken at doctors office it's still good. I got rid of mine before I started this project.

I wish it were more but I think it's been realistic.
I am doing great at swimming but not well at walking. I have only gotten 15,000 steos a few days and there have been several days last week I didn't get 10,000.

Took me a bit to get the calories figured out and stop gaining. Slowly losing the weight now. Obviously won't make the GW of 135, but, encouraged to see it finally going down.2 -

7/17: 197.4 had a few bad days but I've got a new schedule and more opportunities to move throughout the day so if I focus on my calories and macros, I think I can get alot closer to my goal than I am now.2 -
