What should I be doing?

I am using the 5x5 app and I am at 170 for bench press but I am trying to cut weight, I know you cannot bulk if you are cutting weight. So should I be doing more reps at lower weights to tone my muscles rather than lift heavy?

    5x5 is a strength program, so just keep following it

    Keep doing what you're doing so you can continue to build strength and retain your muscle mass as you lose.
