    @lbenson2006 and @Spliner1969 : Thanks! I tried it today with one foot placed in front of the other, and I definitely think I'll stick with that for now until my muscles strengthen up a bit and I'm more comfortable doing planks. Thank you both!

    Decided to update every Friday of my weekly progress. Although, it's been the same all this week! Today I pushed myself though and held it longer than I have been.

    July 3rd - 5 minutes (forearm plank), 1 minute (side-arm plank)
    July 4th - 5 minutes (forearm plank)
    July 5th -5 minutes (forearm plank), 1 minute (side-arm plank)
    July 6th - 5 minutes (forearm plank)
    July 7th - 6.5 minutes (forearm plank), 2 minutes (side-arm plank)
    July 8th - Rest Day - My arms feel like jelly

    Total = 36.5 minutes (forearm plank), 5 minutes (side-arm plank)
