Hey so I lost 150 pounds and I don't always have time to eat a home cooked meal but I figured I'd let you all know about stouffers frozen dinners, they have been a staple for me with my weight loss and they are all under 400 calories for the smaller ones, I just had the pepper steak with rice, it was filling, it tasted like real steak, and it was only 260 calories.

They are great if you are in a bind and can't cook up a home cooked meal, they really aren't that bad at all and people pay loads of money on programs like nutrisystem when you can go to the store and get the same stuff, and yes I lost 150 pounds and I ate a lot of them, just make sure that they fit your calorie target, like I said they are all under 400 calories for the smaller ones.

I forget the exact names, but favorites are the tuna noodle casserole and turkey a la king.

Watch out for the serving size. I recently noticed that a small package of their yummy Mac and cheese is 2 servings at 300 each rather than 300 for the whole package! Bummer!

The bolded bit cracked me up. As in... maybe it's real steak? Maybe not. Oh well, it's steak-adjacent! (Not even going to lie, I live on these things. I hate cooking because reasons.)

Yeah, I got caught by that once. Such a tiny package, too.

Yeah, the tuna noodle is yummy! I also like the lasagna, but it doesn't like me so much. My Dad, who at this point in his life essentially lives off of frozen entrees, is a forever fan of the creamed chipped beef. :D

Gonna have to try these! I'm always looking for the Smart Ones/Lean Cuisines but finding that I've had all of the different kinds and they're getting boring. Thanks for the suggestion and congratulations on losing 150lbs! What an accomplishment!

Stouffers Mac and Cheese is my go to for when I really want some yummy cheesy goodness in a pre-determined portion (even at the 600 calories :D) . I have never tried any of the others. I may have to check them out next time I am at the store.

When I ate the mac and cheese I would add a can of chicken and a vegetable and it's a meal, so yummy

I'm not sure what kind of "meat" they put in some of these,I usually dig their chicken out and add my own, give my dog the stuff out of the meal and he won't touch it!
