Psych meds and trying to lose weight

After trial and error I have been on and off meds that make me gain weight fastly. I'm curious as to what to do to combat the medication during the process. Its hard to lose weight when the meds make you hungry and what's in your reach is often unhealthy. How can I change this?

Talk to your Dr.s, they might have some suggestions. Otherwise high fiber veggies, some low cal goodies. They aren't always the best option but good for filling up on a small calorie budget. Also, I have started taking a fiber drink, followed by some ginger candies at bedtime to help cut down on the night-time past bedtime munchies.0
