What do you recommend to have for breakfast? I do a very physical job and do not always have time to stop for lunch so a proper breakfast is in order. I do not usually eat a breakfast so all new to me. Thank you

If I am going to have a bar for breakfast, it is usually a Luna Protein Bar. Another quick easy breakfast I like is a protein shake with espresso powder or some kind of mix in.
When I have more time, I may have eggs with bacon and roasted potatoes/veggies (or toast).2 -

If you are doing a very physical job and not eating lunch, then you probably need the calories from both of these suggestions. My brother, who has a physical job, eats two microwavable breakfast burritos. I'm not into eggs so I would do the Luna bar and the protein shake.1 -
You can find many different quite tasty ways to make your own. You can even do it in ways that meet your particular macro goals. Google and pinterest are your friends. You're going to want to focus on getting plenty of protein and it sound like about 500 calories is a good target for you.1

Thank you both very much. Will do research more into it.0

I bought them for an option when I truly didn't have time to eat before leaving the house- I found that I was instead using them as a first resort rather than last, so I stopped eating them. Plus, they had a bit more sugar than I liked.1

When I was doing manual labor I would eat two frozen burritos for breakfast every morning, I chose a chicken variety over eggs merely because it was more filling, so don't feel you have to eat only breakfast foods at breakfast!2

I like Kind bars myself, as long as I make sure they are soy free.2

I am vegetarian so was thinking just simple veggie roll stuff for breakfast. Or a couple of bananas. I hate eating in the mornings. I did think a plain sugar ring donut with a banana on top would work.
It is true. You do not have to have a breakfast thing because it is morning!0 -

Well if those can hold you over that long...you and I are very different! I need to eat more that that even when I'm not working a physical job! There are plenty of great vegetarian burritos that are out there. Your body need long lasting fuel and donuts and bananas only have short lasting fuel, sugar/carbs so you will crash.
And finding some sort of convenient snack for midday is much smarter than skipping a lunch all together.0 -
