Did the first day of Week 6 Couch to 5K, despite taking a week off for an injury and planning to repeat Week 5. I realized I've probably got more stamina than I give myself credit for and just did it. Then came home and put on a pair of jeans that are a size smaller than I've been wearing for months.32

Kind of an odd one, but here it is
I was pruning some trees I have neglected since last summer. Then, I could cut 1/4 to 1/2 through the branch and use my BW to finish it off. Today, I couldn't. My NSV is very, very sore, tired hands!34 -
Working as a Radiologic Technologist at our local VA hospital, I have to do bedside X-rays in some of our tiny patient rooms. It's always been a really tight fit trying to get around with my big portable X-ray machine. After an almost 30 lbs loss I noticed tonight that I can now easily squeeze in between the beds, equipment and walls. This makes me happy.58

Those weights I looked at 18 months ago and thought I'll never be able to lift them? They're now my warm up!46

I'm up at 5am and headed to the gym. I'm not a 5am gym person, I'm mad at the world, but I'm going. My husband is the best encourager, and also unfortunately a morning person.41

I found a large bag of pretzels in the cupboard last night - which are now weighed in 25g portions ready for snacks next week at work when the 3pm deadly boredom sets in!
I opened a bag of crispy things and did not sit there plowing through them in front of the TV. and knowing that I have something treatwise for every day next week is awesome!33 -
Got out of the shower and realized the towels that didn't wrap around me to cover up now do! Haha.
Also the fact that my bra straps are not tightly squeezed with excess back fat but instead actually lay flat around my body.33 -
I ran to catch an elevator and ninjaed my way in, to the point one of the passengers referred to my move as "Matrix-like." I'm the same girl who used to have to constantly measure spaces in aisles to see if I was going to fit, and gingerly sit down in a chair to see if it could hold my body weight.47

I can see my collarbones!26

I've noticed some of my work out pants are getting looser in the stomach, and my sports bras aren't as tight as they used to be! Also this is kind of a SV, lowest weight I've been in 2+ years26

A 12 year old friend of my daughters noticed that i've lost weight.
When a child notices, I think thats a sign that its obvious.
Made me feel good, and gave me a confidence boost for the day.

Tried on size 14 jeans in my closet and they fit! A little tight, and I didn't try to sit. But after several years of size 16/18 (US), I see progress!30

Went to Point Pelee and walked the boardwalk, pushing my mother in her wheel chair. I started a little ahead of my husband and kids and they said it was hard to catch up to me, that I was going too fast. Last year I would have been hesitant to start the 1km walk for fear that I couldn't complete it.
While walking on the treadmill, I've started to add in some short bursts of jogging. Not long (minute max) or very fast, but I'm finding it hard to just walk on it now.34 -
After wearing my wedding ring on a different finger for several years, I am finally able to wear it on the correct finger! :-)

I'm finally back on Facebook after 6 months break. I've been posting pics and im loving the feedback. One of my friends that I haven't seen or spoken to for years now, saw my photo and sent me a message complimenting my weight loss. She said I looked completely different. Even my co-worker that I see everyday, in the middle of taking my photo, she stopped and said "omg your waist is so small" .
I just wish my hips were smaller too. I'll just keep working at it.25 -
I have been size 18 pants over the years.
Today was a weird thrift store shopping spree for new (to me) work clothes. I needed dress pants. I started with 10s because I have lost weight and knew that my 8 jeans fit me.....I ended up with sizes 4 and 6 pants, and x-small/small tops.
I also wore shorts in front of a person yesterday for the first time since high school.34 -
Finally measured myself for a new bra size...discovered my old sports bras are 6" too long.23

Had a number of weeks where I had a hard time staying within calories, but weighed in and only gained 1 pound , before I would have said oh well and kept on eating, Now I am happy only 1 pound and back on track32

Congratulations on stopping the binge when you did! I struggle mightily all day long if I lose control in the morning. I would consider that a big NSV. :-)JeromeBarry1 wrote: »My most recent was last Saturday. I had fallen off the wagon hard early in the morning and consumed 3000+ calories of peanut butter cookies and tortilla chips. I decided to burn 'em all. When I got my bike out and strapped on the helmet, I realized that for the second time in this 17+ month effort I needed to tighten the head strap. Yes, my fat has fled my head.

Just realising I've been stringing together whole days of staying within my calorie budget! I'm usually perfect from breakfast through lunch, but dinner onwards is where things get a little iffy. Too big of portions, munchies or grabbing something with friends after we've already had dinner. But aside from a few treats here and there that I have counted for, things have really been coming into line. I think it helps that my husband and I are pretty routine, we don't go out a lot, and we're both creatures of habit, so once those healthier habits are established it's easier to keep with them. On another note, I just started back working at a bakery, and so far I've kept with my goal of no nibbles at work, even though they've constantly been offered!21
