Unusual workout outfits
We're all familiar with typical workout clothes (leggings, shorts, trainers/sneakers, etc) but what's the most unusual outfit you've worn to workout in? I've worked out in my office clothes while AT work doing planks (polo shirt, smart trousers, shoes), but I'm sure there are people out there who can top that.

Hmmm...I've worked out in my commercial gym in an itty bitty singlet prior to a powerlifting comp. That's about it. I was very uncomfortable.1

I run and hike barefoot, so I suppose that's more of a lack of outfit. It's normal to me but I think others find it highly unusual1

I was stopped by a lady from one of my fitness classes on my way to the pool; she asked how to use rowing machine...I was in the weight room rowing away in my swimsuit...I am sure people thought I was taking the "rowing" concept a bit too seriously!9

Burpees in a onesie... warm!1

Years ago I did a 5K fun run dressed as Slash from Guns 'n Roses. Chuck Taylors, black jeans, T-shirt, leather vest, wig, top hat, aviator sunglasses, and a fake cigarette in my mouth.4

I like wearing gray sweatpants with no underwear. No one else likes it when I do though.1

Bikini Tee Shirt. The dove shirt is nice too.

Not myself but there's this grandpa at my gym who wears khaki pants and plaid shirts. I'm not even sure he's a member. Seems like an older gentleman who just walked in and figured it'd be a good idea to get on the treadmill for a little while.8

There's a guy at my gym, probably around 55 years old, that works out in a flannel shirt that's been made into a vest with no shirt underneath it, khaki shorts and leather loafers. Not only does he give zero *kitten* about the "no gymbags on the gym floor" rule but he works out with a duffel bag with what looks like his entire wardrobe in it and three huge containers of supplements and powders. He's loved by few, hated by many4

Gotta pull up and be ready to go with half of your belongings, lmao. My mans is always ready for anything and everything.
I always do my core workouts in boxer briefs after a swim or a run.1 -

What a legend.
I think the weirdest one I saw was a guy wearing a whole denim onesie with his hood up. I thought he was some kind of super-hero so didn't give it too much thought.1 -
Yesterday, there was a dude at my gym wearing a Rush t-shirt. Not weird, in and of itself, but I looked closer and saw that it was a concert shirt from 1976. I spent a little bit of time wondering if it was a REAL concert shirt or just a re-made one like they do sometimes, all fake, but it looked worse for wear, and this guy had that "Serious Rush Fan" look about him, so I decided that it was the real deal.
THEN I started to wonder about this guy. He must be a pretty hard-core fan to have kept this concert tee for 41 years (and really, ALL Rush fans are hard-core fans) and I'm thinking, if he kept that shirt for 41 years, he must consider it a collector's item, and if that were me, I wouldn't have worn it to the GYM. That's pretty weird.
But then I thought, Rush fans are so hard-core that they follow the band around to all the shows in all the cities whenever they can. So like, this guy might have 142 concert tees from various Rush shows. So... yeah. Maybe he just wears them to wherever.
But THEN I thought, Rush just finished their LAST TOUR. Even if you were kind of lackadaisical about your memorabilia before, SURELY you'd be more careful with it now. There will be NO MORE RUSH CONCERT TEES. So then, I got kind of upset with him. Wearing that shirt to the gym is just plain disrespectful.9 -
