Should I go down from 1600cal to 1300cal?

Hi guys! So I'm being a bit impatient with my weight loss I guess... it takes me about 3 weeks to see a drop on the scale. I've lost 7kg/15lbs in just over 3 months... so all in all it works out to about a pound per week, which I know is a decent effort. I'd prefer to lose 2lbs/1kg a week though. I've been doing about 1600cal for the last couple months. If I drop that down to say 1300, do you think I'll see the number on the scale go down a little faster? Ive accepted that weight loss takes time but I am meeting my boyfriends friends and family in November and I really just want to drop another 10kg/22lbs by then so I can get back to what I was when I met him 2 years ago. If things stay the same then I'd probably be dropping another 7kg/15lb. Just trying to speed things up ever so slightly check my diary if you like, my dietitian is allgood with what I'm eating but any advice would help! Particularly re the calories. FYI i am 5 foot 3 and naturally on the curvy side.

Be more patient. 300 calories is a lot to drop in one go.3

300 is a big drop. What is your total weight?
I tend to be extreme so I should listen to my own advice, but I'd try 150 calories first. Depending on your stats though.4 -
Total weight at the mo is 85/187lbs.

If you are losing at 1600 I would stay with that. You are having amazing results and trust me the only one who is going to know the difference between that 7 pounds you will still have to get to your 'ideal' weight - is you! Why eat less than you have to? Why make yourself potentially miserable? Beside what you are doing needs to be sustainable for you to succeed long term (not just your short term goal). Believe me I know. (lost 46 pounds and gained 35 of it back).

I always think its fun to make smaller changes like dropping 100 calories and then give it time. You could also increase activity too.1

Ok - ill give it a slight drop. I do eat my workout calories back. I need to get a fitbit or something because im only tracking my cardio based on what the machine says. i work out 4x a week with weightlifting and a bit of cardio, and would probably struggle with increasing the activity, but can probably manage the slight drop in calories.
