2100 to maintain, 2500 to gain (or 3000 if I'm bad)
1600 to cut
40 yrs, 5'6" 140 lbs. Lifting 3x week, 1 cardio per week.1 -
I'm taking in 3400-3550 a day. Currently dropped 23lbs to 170lbs @ 5'9'' 38 years old. The 3500 is to maintain about 172lbs solid.0

1275.0

Cutting very slowly @ 2600, but I cardio 4 days a week and lift the other 3, so I have a lot of burn. For reference, I'm 6' 161.1

I'm cutting right now, I eat between 2700 and 3100 a day based on cardio.0

1570 -- TDEE minus 500 -- or one pound per week. 265 lb., 5'4", 66 y.o. sedentary female.
I try to keep within the goal or up to 100 calories less. I ignore under calories but over calories get quick-added to breakfast the next day.
I'm going to start doing seated exercise videos this week but will be setting calories to zero since I will still, for all intents and purposes, be sedentary.0 -
Average is 1600 calories daily..
Age 42, height exactly 5ft , and hypothyroidism
Sedentary Job, but get between 12-15,000 Steps daily...

I maintain at around 2400 calories per day. I have a sedentary job but am somewhat active when it comes to intentional exercise. I'm 5'8" 126 lbs.0
-
bah nevermind I was already on here0

1200 on a strict cut. But since I'm younger and female it's only about a 500-600 deficit. 1200 gets me -1.5 to 2 pounds a week. I bulk super clean still so 2000 on bulk0

@ForecasterJason we're the same height and pretty close in weight and maintain at about the same amount. Is that 2400 not including exercise?0 -

If you are losing 1.5 to 2 lbs per week, your deficit is not 500 to 600.... but rather 750 to 1000 calories, which puts maintenance around 1950 to 2200.4 -

2,400-2,500 a day to maintain (with exercise)0

2200 without exercise..today 3300+ because I'm at boxing camp and trying to gain. Currently 5'8" 124lbs0
-
MFP set me at 1980 and I am usually fairly close to that figure.0

I've just started, goal is 2600-3000 calories, but I'm stuck on 2000 -_-0

Around 3500-3800 a day0

2200, to lose flab and build muscle. 5 days a week training. Diet consists of 65% protein. Which includes 2-3 shakes a day. And it works 2 months ago leg press max was 300kg, now sits at 600kg's very happy with that especially at 49!!!!1

1200-1250 to cut.
~2750 to maintain.
Bulking ranges anywhere from a 2900-3800/day average, depending upon the speed at which I want to gain. Low end for 0.2-0.3/week, high end for 0.7-1. It maths out weird, but basically the more I eat, the more I end up moving, so it gets more and more difficult to keep a surplus.1 -
Goal is 3300 but I usually actually hit about 3100 except for the occasional "cheat day" when I carb up and hit 4000 to 5000.
51 year old male
5'11"
175 to 176 lbs steady
8.x % bodyfat (DXA every 6 months has ranged from 8.9 to 8.1)
I originally wanted to try and break into the 7s but I like food and hate cardio too much so I am ok with maintaining in the 8s as long as my strength keeps going up (slow as it is) LOL.
I figure at my age I'm in a vanishingly low percentage of people (especially over 50) who can claim a "raw total" of over 850 pounds on "the big three".2 -
I'm cutting right now--have been for about 3 weeks or so and I'm eating 1750 calories @ 5'6.5" and 138/139 lbs and 31 years old. Before cutting, I was maintaining 143 @ 2100-2600 cals/ day.0
-
I'm 43 - new to the whole weightlifting scene and I'm at around 4000 calories a day0

After following trends from the past month, I apparently need more than 1900 to maintain. The scale went down 2 lbs. I'm gonna start aiming for 2100.1

Female currently 123lb 5ft 4.
I cut on 1400 calories 5 days a week and 2 days at 2200= 1628 average. I like my weekends
I maintain on 1900 calories average a day at my normal 118lbs.
Just back from an all inclusive holiday0 -
I'm trying to stay very close to just under or a tiny bit over 1200 a day.1
