I do that with cottage cheese, because I don't like yogurt. Super easy cheap snack.1

I bought cottage cheese today. It tastes good with fruit in it? I never tried it. I was actually thinking what to eat it with because im allergic to most breads. Thanks! Im trying it tomorrow0

Cottage cheese is particularly good with pineapple or mango in my opinion.2

I've never tried fruit in my cottage cheese. I like it enough either plain or with a little black pepper.
I hadn't considered mixing plain yogurt with fruit, which is silly because in the past I've added vanilla, sweetener, and pecans to it. That was great. I will have to look at this. I'm looking at a very tight budget this year to focus on an agressive debt reduction plan, so looking for ways to cut the bills I have control over.1 -
I wish I was good at spending little on food. I eat so much fage...so much halo top and expensive crap. I wish I could just eat like..beans, rice and whatever is on sale.0

I put walnuts and frozen blueberries in my plain Greek yogurt. The only fruit I've ever put in cottage cheese is pineapple, but I bet diced peaches would be good.1

I have made eating cheap, tasty and healthy into a game I love cooking and seeking out good bargains and trying new flavors.2

Try making your own yoghurt.
Bring some milk to the boil (if you can hold it just below the boil for half an hour it'll be thicker) and then cool to just above blood heat. Stir in a little bit of plain yoghurt, then keep it warm for 8 hours or so (wrap in towels, put in an oven with just the light on, there are various tricks). Refrigerate overnight.
Then to make it Greek, line a sieve with cloth and strain the yoghurt in it until it is as thick as you want it. The whey that comes out can be added to smoothies, soup, home made bread, various things.
It's good. And if you're buying a lot of fancy Greek yogurt, this will absolutely save you money.2 -
Another tip i learned and used and has helped me tremendously withlosing soluble body fat (especially in stomach area) is this mix.
1 oz apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 lemon squeeze
1 tsp honey
1 tsp of cinnamon
Mix it , hold your nose to drink it then see for yourself magic!!5 -
