Calorie intake vs calories burned.

Hello all!
I see a lot of posts referencing 'burn more calories than you eat and you will lose weight.'
I work at a desk job and don't excersise often (yet). If I am eating ~1300-1500 calories a day average (sometimes more) when trying to lose weight and MFP says I am burning 150 a day from walking will I still be losing weight?

You burn way more than 1500 calories just by living and going about your life. Exercise isn't necessary for weight loss.4

I also have a sedentary job and my main form of exercise is 20 minutes of walking five times a week. I pretty much just ignore exercise calories at this point.0
